So you can be part of "some people" while speaking for them, but I can't be part of "we" doing the same?

SezWho2...You tell me to speak for myself, but look at your own last reply. You are speaking for "some people". Practice what you preach.

cont'd (that means continued)...I never said I didn't care. The verb do is implied as in explain why we "do" care.

SezWho2...thanks for the elementary school grammar lesson. Let me explain in in simpler terms. Obviously the press thinks "we the public" care, or they would not have made it a news story.

Never happen, too much oil at stake. Plus Iran's nuke program isn't slowing down.

I have no problem with women who dress sexy. But don't pull an attitude if all I am doing is looking.

What they didn't tell you is that all the Toppos are the same. They just change the box depending on the market.

So, if I happen to be sitting next to a "customer of size", do I get a refund based on the percentage of MY seat that person is overflowing into?

I agree with Blue Tiger when he said "Much ado about nothing". Somebody explain to me why we care if Paris Hilton's mom was offended.

cleo...look at it this way. The mom is intimidated (afraid) of her teenage son, and he refuses to leave the computer. Do you think he would stand there and allow her to get near the computer in the first place to unplug any cables? Just flip the breaker to that room, if the kid comes after you, leave the house and call the police.

How about not using a knife at all, and just turning off the circuit breaker. Then, next time he goes out, just take the computer.

"Only God has the right to take a life". Cousin Reyna should have said that to Mr. Medellin before he raped and murdered two children. "No to the death penalty...may God forgive you". How about "No to raping and murdering two children. May God forgive him." If I had a cousin that did something so horrible, I wouldn't be protesting for him, I would be apologizing.

Being "Not guilty by reason of insanity" will be difficult to prove. Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't that mean that the accused has to NOT understand that what they did (were doing) was wrong?

Dogdog...Well said. rjd jr...How can you say that what happened in Nanking is a non-issue? The deaths of thousands of innocent Japanese civilians is certainly an unspeakable tragedy, and by no means am I belittling their pain. The issue here is the Japanese government's complete denial of their responsibility leading up to Hiroshima/Nagasaki.

Moderator: Nanjing is not relevant to this discussion.

More criminal psychology on parade. "You owe me, so I'm gonna kill you and spend the rest of my life in prison, just to teach you a lesson."

We once parked our car at night in an apartment complex in Hachioji. A Nihonjin was standing in the parking lot looking angry. We asked in Japanese if it was okay to park here. He said yes, and we went inside. Later, as we drove out of the parking lot, there was a loud banging noise from the front end. I pulled over to check. Somebody had loosened all the lug nuts on one of our car's front wheels. Fortunately, we found out as soon as we moved the car. Thank God we were not on the expressway. We didn't report it 'cause we could not prove who did it, and there was no injury or damage.
