For me a true sports superstar is one who is humble. One who recognizes from whom his or her talent comes and understands the responsibility to be a good role model and be willing to give back to the community inways that reflect his or her humilty. We compalin about high salaries, etc., but this will always be the case. The question for me is how will these figures make an impact on humanity for the good of others.

"Blessed are the peacemakers for they will be called children of God." Why is it so hard to believe that God ia all about peace? It is the human person that perverts God's since of justice and peace. God for the pontiff - perhaps one of the few sane and responsible religious leaders of our time. I suspect he sees that place as another example of man's inhumanity to man- similiar to the Nazi death camps, the genocide in Africa, etc. Peace upon us all!

I suggest that all of you who point the finger at any religion's history do so across the board. Let's begin with Islam and continue forward. At least the Pope recognizes a sin when he sees one and is willing to begin the process of healing and conversion. A good lesson for all of the world especially those whose lives are rooted in selfishness and belong to "the church of what's happening now." Peace to all.
