Of course there is always a loss. But you have to view it as energy storage. Without it, you loose 100%.

With energy you divide water into oxygen and hydrogen. Than you let the hydrogen react with CO2.
Methanol is an energy storage.

It also depends what kind of job you want. If you want to repair motorcycles, than you must be able to talk to the customers. So you must have very high language abilities, or otherwise it doesn´t make any sense.

Most companies in the world do not care of their employees talent. Especially if it is a big company. Thats the way it is. Also as much as I know working hours in the US are much longer than in Japan.
