It was not a death by broiling people! If you had seen the news footage, this is an undercover carpark, and the mother had left the engine running to keep the air-conditioning of the car going. As for not locking the car, a mistake or maybe not. I live in Kyushu and I often leave the car running for aircon (when my dogs are in the car), with the doors unlocked....too trustworthy perhaps but a lot of us who live in the countryside do so! If she was returning the cart I don't see any problem with the Mum's actions whatsoever.

Congratulations to Nadeshiko Japan, they looked a bit flat footed against the gutsy North Koreans yesterday, but all the women's teams are under a fairly brutal match schedule for these olympic qualifiers.... the men have it easy don't they! I hope they bring the gold home from London next year!

The sentence of five years does sound very light...now if he had started those fires with a joint here JP..he'd be locked up for decades. The sentences here are light on everything, bar drugs!

This match is just a 'friendly' match, so it is hardly worth the risk. Kagawa should just soay no this time and sit it out, he does owe Dortmund a lot for missing so much of last season.

So-long to the master of disaster. No, type B blood type is no excuse for this, nor is being a Kyushu man any excuse.
Matsumoto is just a d*** , end of story. Most of the the politcal commentators are saying he did this performance on this purpose, to ditch a portfolio he loathed, and to add to the woes of the ailing Kan cabinet.
Good riddance rude little man!

I really hope the last farmers to go do actually find somewhere to house their herds for a time. This evacuation is so dam brutal and could be better organized. The amount of livestock being starved to death or shot for no good reason, (but for the sake of expediency) in this bad situation is insane.!! I know that people nationwide have raised enough money, and arranged to float hundreds of horses from the Fukushima region up to Hokkaido (offering free accom), and many horses from riding clubs, farms and race-training farms have been collected by volunteers, only to be stopped short just outside of the 30km zone and either sent back (or worse) simply because if there are no papers to prove the have had their yearly shots...they cannot leave the area. This kind of insane bureaucracy....gets up my goat so badly!!

One can only hope for a rolling blackout on the 29th... I am an Aussie, and am totally ashamed of the 'royal wedding froth' the press over there seem to be embroiled in now. Ridiculous in this day and age!
