It was a matter of time. Maybe he finally listened to his Mum and turned himself in. She put out a plea for him to do so on Tokudane this morning.

    Lindsay, rest in peace.

Complete and utter depravity, and yet there are still states in the US where bestiality is still not illegal, (Alaska included I believe, so not 'only in the south' I am afraid)and it is these very same religious-nut red-neck states that are so anti-gay!!

I like the new President....and I think he has the ability to achieve great things for his nation and the world at large, in time...but a Nobel right now is nothing more than premature adulation! I don't think the man himself would feel worthy of such an award so early!

It has passed us by in Osumi (Kagoshima), and was quite harmless considering all the hype...wind speed and rainfall was much less than the expected 200mm ...however, I think Kochi may take the real brunt of this one...so please take care!!

Glad his evil-deeds have finally caught up with him...drugs and artistic brilliance are no excuse for paedophilia. And by the way, 'Sarge'... WTF does the victim's current appearance have to do with anything??? An odd comment at best.

Ah so....sounds like blasphemy, but I totally agree with you. I am an 80's teen too, and never got the Michael J thing. Now he's departed, he has turned from Wacko Jacko to Saint Michael overnight. Death becomes him.

The WHO made efforts to have the title of 'swine flu' changed to H1N1 flu or new strain flu....but it looks as though the English language media have mostly have stuck with (the more dramatic sounding) swine flu. I am glad Japan (and the media here) have gone with 新型 (new type) influenza, as the name of this strain, as I hope this won't end in the needless slaughter of animals.....this has gone beyond the swine to human stage anyway. I think the number of patients is still no cause for hysteria at this stage...but come next winter this could turn messy. I too believe caution is the best way to go right now.

I care very much too. This guy's foolhardy actions have made her awful situtaion far worse. Her health is at risk and if she goes to a regular jail (as the press is reporting) she may suffer even more. Shame on Burma/Myanmar...!

This guy is just another 'famous for being famous' tool -over the past decade he has not worked on anything but chat shows talking about his luck with the ladies, or charity golf gigs...what a life!! Terebi-shopping awaits you Jun-chan!!

I think the misnomer of 'swine flu' added to the hysteria...people seemed terrified of a virus that may give them a snout, trotters, and a damn nasty fever for that matter.

"Opening a door and hanging your head out while reversing is not only dangerous because you cannot see the other side of the car, but it is illegal in Australia...." news to me (an Aussie) however not a big surprise...everything is illegal in the Nanniest of Nations! My sympathy to the Dad. This was an accident!

I would not give Pakistan a cent! Not when it is hurtling down a road towards religious fanaticism and dogma-based law....Pakistan has failed to become the nation it promised to be at independence. Another Islamic basket-case! Do not feed!

pro- I believe we should have the personal right to pull the pin when pain/suffering gets beyond endurance...! In such a case I would be in no mood to listen to the religious nuts telling me how 'precious' it all is!

The real crooks here are the politicians (both sides of the aisle) who took money from these corps and pushed so hard for deregulation...the same ilk who now smack down any interventionist measures the new administration come up with. I am disgusted by the AIG bonuses but in perspective their ill-gotten gains are insignificant to the misdeeds of so many in Washington over the last few decades.
