Mino Monta is someone who does not need to work. He inherited a massive fortune from his father's business. His stint on television has never been about the money. Call it a glamorous hobby if you like. Leaving one of his shows after a 20 yer stint is in no way a problem for this guy! I didn't like him much but his morning (slurry Monta beer for brekky) show isn't too bad!!!

Congratulations Japan and Korea on a nail-biting finale! WBC detractors...if you don't like the tournament...turn off the box and do something else for gods sake...some of you seem to have watched every minute of the tournament, just to nit-pick! I enjoyed every moment! Japan played fantastic baseball. That's that.

Ummm having watched the delayed broadcast on skapa I think they played with a truck load of seriousness. Neither team had any wish to yield in this game!

Good steady pitching! And yet again the Aoki and the true batters shone! The Bums and Bongs were silenced today! I thought Japan would lose this one, but they made a statement here I believe. I look forward to a Venezuala VS Japan final.!!!

This sealed the deal for me as far as ice-skating goes...as an Aussie, all the talk of bribing judges etc was something I never really gave a toss about...but on a dozey Sunday arvo with nothing else on the box, as happens I watched THE MOST RIGGED OF SPORTS EVENTS I HAVE EVER WATCHED before.WWF, I am now a true beliver, compared to this! Oda skated (as Roy and HG would best put it) like a dog's breakfast with tripe...and yet still won the GRAND PRIX? Johnny Weird USA was perfect and clearly the victor. Oda was as shocked by the results as anyone and, somewhat hesitant to take the prize...."How many times must I land on my spangled butt to lose this thing" was his look.,, The judges must have taken a load of fine omiyage home to ensure the homeground victory of the ever mediocre Mao and the sloppy, yet thankfully, less teary this year, Oda. What a farce!

Even the morning shows were saying the cops had absolutely no evidence to link him to the murder,,,,apart from that surveilence pic.. which was such poor quality we could have been looking at a photo of victim with Elvis for that matter. On this shakey premise the police have zero right to search his home a second time for an unrelated crime. But then again the local Obasan said: "That blob in the picture looks EXACTLY like Catweazle down the road" Yes the man under 'investigation' is a much loathed neighborhood perve with a penchant for knicker theft, collecting mountains of s/crap in the backyard, and stealing spare change...BUT it is a giant leap to killing a local lass and concealing a body some 7 kilometers from the point of the surveilance snap. (All the while a mean feat for a 60 year old with only a bicycle for transport).

I am a type one diabetic (insulin injections 4 times daily) and have been for years...when first diagnosed I tried lots of supplements etc...they do nothing I tell you but lighten your wallet and my doctors all agree. For type 2 diabetics who have weight control issues, perhaps the biwa-cha, diet tea route works...but they are horrid in taste and simply make you pine for tastier stuff! Healthy low fat food and a lot of exercise is the best way!

I agree, not enough predatory Catholic priests here so the politicians must surely win hands down in this country.

Hillary has become increasingly deluded about her popularity as the days have worn on...intoxicated by her own spin. Bill has looked like a hung-over angry man this entire campaign. I think their filthy campaign has served only to destroy both of their reputations. I was a Clinton admirer, but as one CNN commentator put it so well today.. as a couple they are the Ike and Tina of politics...a sad mess in the end. Anyone but Hillary for VP!

What not name the workplaces of all ten then? Destroy one Brit publicly, while respecting the others' anonymity. Wrong, very wrong.
