I know this American dude in Itoman (Okinawa) with a Japanese commercial fishing license. If you want fresh, unfrozen tuna (not bluefin) you should get in touch with this guy! He does not target blue fin tuna at all...kind of a rare breed I would say...

And the US is right in this demand. Agreements are made to be honored...if not, then they are not agreements...Japan should keep it's promises so it can be recognized as a nation that can be trusted, not only by the US, but by other nations as well.

Increasing global population is not going to make it any easier on fish populations. Some countries will observe the quotas while others will benefit from the quotas, by increasing their catches.
