the world could do with a little more terror these days, like it used to be in the bush era. the world was a much better place back then. let's create more terror and fear in people.

truth is, muslims in 'free' countries, are in more danger in those 'democratic' countries on a daily basis than any other religious groups are in those same countries, especially in the US. stop the anti muslim hatred. not every muslim is a terrorist as the media, and democratic western countries' governments would like you to believe.

think for yourself. dont believe the hype.

well, just like the whole story of the two boats ramming, both countries are giving limited details as to the circumstances of each incident. who exactly rammed who, and did the chinese govt actually know about the purpose of the pictures???

semperfi, have you ever been to or lived in china to make that all encompassing view, and what exactly is 'real china' in your estimation, please the board is open, explain your theory.

china said it would retaliate if the captain of the boat was not released. he wasnt, so they retaliated. simple, isnt it? they also retaliated by putting a ban on all export of precious materials to japan. china holds some 90 percent of the precious materials industry which is used to make such things as cell phones, LCD crystal TVs, etc.

Now really, what are japan's intentions with regard to a captain of a small fishing vessel that happened to have dropped his line in the wrong place at the wrong time, and got in a what amounts to a traffic accident on the high seas? are japan's intentions here not in some way twisted?

they risk the collapse of diplomatic relations, a severe blow to a multibillion dollar electronics industry, and also risk upsetting what is the world's strongest country economically, a threatening force politically, and militarily a modern world superpower for what??? a fishing boat captain who was caught fishing in disputed, insignificant waters??? tell me, who has gone too far here?

Our troops who are over there trying to put the best face possible on their country.

yabits, you cant be serious. this war is based on lies and any death resulting from it is wrong. "your country" made this war to cloud you and a great many other people into thinking that there is an enemy and it must be erradicated. "your country" created fear in people, thus creating anger and hate against muslims everywhere in the world. "your country" is to blame for all this. i dont fault the troops, in fact i pity them. they are made into sheep no more or less honorable than the insurgent groups and terrorist groups it claims to be hunting.

great teournament, congrats to BOTH teams. let's all put away our biased opinions and enjoy the games for what they really are. a bunch of kids playing for the love of the sport. whether you're simply a fan, a bandwagon rider, or a hard core follower of the little league, don't pollute the board with your negative sentiments. most of the posters here sound like kids younger than the ones playing in this little league, and their posts read more like, i know you are but what am I?

japan agrees to once again, bend over and deepen its 'bilateral' ties. kan couldnt possibly do it any other way because he's as good as mute when it comes to discussing issues with other foreign leaders. what year is it again? why is the leader of a such a posperous and adevanced nation as such as japan, unable to speak a lick of English?!?

it seems like all that the states and japan do is meet and greet these days. the PM turns over much too rapidly to get any real work done

Wasabi, you did what in 90 days? Well then why are you still there if clearly you believe the job is finished.

What did you do there? Bomb a country and culture back to the stone ages.

How many young American lives were spent? a mere 4,500 lives, and a total of over 30,000 wounded.

Job well done, on your account

    >

Israel’s action against the convoy bringing pro-Palestinian activists to Gaza evidences the Jewish state’s determination to defuse threats against it, the greatest of which is the Iranian nuclear weapons program

What about Israel's nuclear weapons program--they still to date, deny the fact that they possess nuclear weapons and are in clear violation of the IAEA???

The ayatollahs are masters of diplomatic avoidance.

and so are israeli politicians in their flat out denials of bombing a UN building in palestine where women and children were being sheltered

dont believe the hype. dont believe the press. israel and the US want us to believe there is an overwhelming threat of a missile attack from iran, therefore giving israel and the US a platform for which to destroy another country, as it has already done in Afghanistan and Iraq. this has been their mandate from the start and they use the media as fuel for their unfathomable acts of deceit and violence.

this team sux! the coach sux, too. J teams just dont have the passion or the ball z to play a contact sport like soccer. other teams are gonna push you around, grab your jersey and tackle you hard. when do you ever see J players do that??? they are so into their fundamentals here, dribbling the ball, free kicks and all that other important stuff you need to be a good player, but they forgot to teach how to grow a set be aggressive. where is this element of their game and why is it left out of their strategy time and time again.

they've got no heart and so like all the world cups past, i see no possibility of a win for japan in south africa. good luck boys, cuz boys are just what you are. come back in 4 years, when you realize that it takes men to compete, although i doubt you will come to that revelation any time soon

for a majority of the men, its the way they were raised that it is the problem. you've got to work. i agree that sometimes they dont know why the hell they're working so hard, but when it's been pounded into your head from when you were little, and using your own parents and relatives as your only example, arent you just bound to be stuck in the same lame routine?

may be an extreme case but there are men out there that dont even know where the green tea is in the kitchen? do these types of men benefit from maternity leave? probably not. if anything, they'll be the cause of more trouble than help for their wives because now they've got to take care of 2 babies full time
