I always enjoy reading comments from foreign leaders trying to tell the U.S. how to do something they've failed miserably at themselves.
By the way, Japan, how's that decade long recession treating you?

Instant curry packs and music societies? Lame. He aspires to the imperial throne and that's the best he's got? I feel sorry for his wife.
Crown Prince: "So, did I ever tell you about the time I won the instant curry sports prize?"
Crown Princess: "Jesus Christ, not again ..."
Crown Prince: "How about that one time I worked part-time checking student IDs. Man, that was crazy."
Crown Princess: "Please kill me now."

Why doesn't this sort of thing ever happen to me? Especially when I'm walking home from a ball game twirling my bat? Man, talk about stress relief. I'd love to run across some drunk nutt-job wielding a knife and thus the perfect opportunity for a couple of free swings.
Don't worry folks, I'd aim low. Right around the knee-caps.

Typical. Mexican terrorists can't even manage the simplest of tasks: Pull pin. Then throw.

"In Japan we don't do subprime lending ..."
That's not what I hear. In fact, I've been told by folks in the industry that ARM type loans are the norm and it's not at all unusual to make loans of 30,000,000 yen (U.S. $300,000) to people earning in the 3,000,000 yen range (U.S. 30,000).
In other words, if the variable rates on those "non-subprime" loans ever adjust upwards, the housing market here is going to crash exactly like it did in the United States.

Wage slavery? Pfft.
Try: "If you sleep through school and don't bother to acquire any useful skills, it shouldn't come as a big surprise when your only job options involve something repetative and boring."
