There's no doubting that he was wanting to make a statement of some sorts. But if he'd wanted to kill as many people as possible or really grab attention then why didn't he sit in or move up to a car in the middle of the train? Witnesses also report that he was agitated for quite some time prior to dousing himself and even told people to leave the car. I would also speculate that most of the folks in the car clicked as to what he was up to and got the heck out of there, pronto, which is why there weren't more deaths. Also, see the TV footage to understand, but why on earth was the connecting door left open?? Anyway, I hope the real reason is revealed to the masses soon. I doubt it's anything to do with his pension. That reason just doesn't seem to carry enough weight.

"We've only got one floating anchor thingy and we need two to stop you being flipped..or something..oh n the steering is broken, you're almost out of reach of the coast guard, we certainly can't help you, and the weather looks pretty darn bad. To top it off, we have a bad feeling about everything." You think?

Once it's been cleansed again, maybe they should keep on top of it so it doesn't go to the dogs...again. However, with any huge influx of tourists/guests there is inevitably going to be a number who fall foul of scams or unscrupulous establishments. It can be limited, though, by keeping these dodgy characters on their toes and shutting them down before they get anything even resembling a foothold.

I really want to know where the meat ends up. Do the the folks in and around Taiji hoover it up like there's no tomorrow? Is it processed, mislabeled, and sold to canneries as something else? Is it in our kids lunches? Where does it go??

Re second to last paragraph...While I don't believe a child (or any human for that matter) should be denied ice cream, it's hardly a necessity comparable with medicine.

Seriously? Even though the dogs are now in "home quarantine" (not allowed in the garden??), they could easily stick the dogs in an official quarantine shelter until he can fly them out. I don't understand why they have to be killed.

With most drones only offering 10 to 20 mins of battery time, you could probably easily find a quiet corner of the park and get your drone fix before anyone had the chance to tell you to pack up. That's what I'll be doing, anyway.
