After reading these kinds of stories over the last few months I really question japan's most excellent medical care. Apparently not so excellent. Not saying mistakes don't happen but what about setting up panels in hospitals to investigate these sort of things. It IS. Done in other countries.

@guy the farmers are thieves, charging unbelievable prices for rice. Also subsidies for not growing, and probably many other things we don't know about. I don't eat rice but I would like to see affordable food.

We have the best of both worlds a tatami bed with futons. Love futons but not the floor and as mentioned above various critters that scurry.
