GJ, instead of ranting about it, can you explain it to us non-ivory league school types?
Its not like they're giving money to anyone, they're letting us keep what what make, well, a little bit. Personally, I'm tired of paying taxes to the US and Japan. its hard to imagine that taxes are the hardest things we have to deal with in both businesses we have.
Now, if you were to say to an entire sweep out of the federal government with all their employees and setup a new system, maybe I'd think different.

aday: you've lamented here that you're a six figure guy and don't mind paying more, so send in your checks if you want to pay more. bottom line that those who've made 250k and are making half that this year can rest assured that their taxes are not going up and maybe reach out and hire a guy or two... I, like you if you told me the truth, know what's its like to hire and fire people and what we need. What we didn't need was the Dems plan, except Shumer's which was still a bit off given how much the economy has tanked for many (not all).

GJD: that's a good point above on the softer targets, but the leaks I hear show companies and business that are dealing with US security entities and some of them are in "enemy" countries. That's getting a bit personal.

I think this was a silly list to be released...first of all, it has no real meaning for the average citizen and doesn't seem to be showing any signs of hidden agenda's or govenment cover-ups. Also, by releasing this list, it does make it easier for people to target these places; be it forein or dometic terrorist" or just a simple person with a grudge....
Anyway,dont u think Assange's works are a plus to the western world and your Ideology?He is just demonstrating what u believe." we have a freedom of speech which is why we were supposed to make certain things secret unlike a great many other countries, countries which many here support, govern their people in secrecy. Big Difference.
What's next, he's already given out names of translators (practically a death sentence).

I haven't really looked at any of them, but there are blogs going around saying things like WMD's were indeed found in Iraq, terror cash connections via Saudi Arabia, certain things on Obama and of course the banks... basically, things we have assumed all along but aren't dumb enough for announce them.
