There must have been about 1,000 of them at my station today. They looked like clones, all wearing the same clothes, with the same pimply faces. After a week, they'll start wearing their own clothes and become invisible again.
But Nessie, though you are probably right, how do you know he didn't actually die right at the very moment they wheeled his stretcher into the hospital?
Once again, another example of slack parental supervision in Japan. And the same applies to the story about the boy who lost his fingers at the golf course. And please, let's not have some reader telling me that these accidents happen in other countries. I'm not concerned with other countries.
So many current world leaders are either colorless, fanatical or incompetent. Australian PM Kevin Rudd would get my vote, though. He seems to be keeping his promises so far. I only hope he isn't forced to compromise.
It depends what you grew up watching. I know the quality of Miyazaki's work is superb but I grew up with Warner Bros Looney Tunes, so for me, the American animators have a special place in my heart.
