Had to laugh at the, “is a fact accepted historically and by the international community” quote. Since when did things being accepted by the international community have any weight in Japan. If you agree with what they say you can pull this quote; if not you can just say that it's a Japanese domestic issue and that they don't understand/shouldn't get involved.

I had to read the article twice to make sure it didn't mention the actual ranking of Uruguay. They are 19th in the world, as far as I know.

Do the band appear in the commercial at all, or are they just relying on Sakai's pulling power to get people to buy the CD?

Has Messi and Torres ever said that Captain Tsubasa was their inspiration? I see it mentioned in Japanese blogs and on sites that Tsubasa has been the inspiration for almost every world famous footballer, but never read quotes or heard people say it.

Here's hoping that Japan is considering the DPRK abductees while talking about defence/strikes against he country. Or have abductions been put on the backburner for now as there's something else to rally around?

Wait... you're saying Okinawa's had money spent on its roads? Apart from the 58? Got to try and find them somewhere.
They should have taken the IOC members to these places to see how Japan has recovered and deserves the Olympics.
