Japanese person in position of responsibility sexual molestation/assault shocker. But it's ok - they were drunk and didn't plan it so let's just forget about it after a week's vacation. I mean suspension.

Yet Japan doesn't accept the DPRK's claim that their abductee issue is fully resolved?
Words like "throw", "stone" and "glass houses" spring immediately to mind.

Needs to be clearer as whether it's going to 2 years for decontamination, or 2 years until the city says that it's safe regardless of what's going on? Seems a little daft to place a limit on it like this when the reactor is still not shutdown and not under full control (so it seems).

Well it's got connections with the government, so am expecting Fukushima-based products and schemes to be given all sorts of promotion over the next few years as they try to make people believe everything is safe and under control up there.

Has all the money that was raised following the earthquake been spent now? Last I read a huge proportion had not been allocated. Am assuming this will also happen to the funds raised by the government, being slowly watered down into other areas/people's pockets (delete as appropriate).

There was a wonderful Freudian slip regarding this last issue during a game. The commentator was talking about one player on the Aussie team, referring to him as the "Big Tongan on the Australian bench". Made me chuckle.
They either need to make stringent rules for qualifying for a nation, or just let a country choose whoever will play for them (i.e. usually whoever pays the most). Go one way or the other but being in the middle like this is a bit of a farce (in many sports).

Once you get over about 70 points, it doesn't really come down to the opposition; it's more of whether the team who's winning can be bothered any more or just want to save themselves from injury.
It may as well be the 10 nation World Cup, and even that would be stretching it with who actually has a chance of winning it.

It's a little sensitive. Nobody batted an eyelid really outside JT when Hitler was used as a role model for speech-making on J-TV a few weeks ago. Maybe just people taking more notice of other Asian countries these days?
