    Redmeatkoolaid,

Regarding http://stuffwhitepeoplelike.com/2008/01/19/8-barack-obama/, I must say thank you for directing me to it. I have returned to this site with a profound regard for the intelligence and education of JT posters, even if some of them get a bit snarky towards each other at times.

One of the most impressionable features of Richard Sapper’s “Static” clock

You have a nice writing style on the whole Laura, but you'd better check the word "impressionable" in a dictionary or thesaurus, where you'd find it alongside words like "innocent", "naive" and "gullible".

SOOTHSAYER is wondering why they guys names are in capitals. Is it because they have industrial deafness and have to shout all the time?

    Eco hard rock? That's new.

He also wrote, ‘‘I’m in a mood to kill people regardless of who they are,’’ suggesting an urge for kill at random.

    Profound piece of journalism, this.

Finally, instead of stroking your own egos (or certain other parts of your anatomy), you might think about the poor victims in this whole affair.

May the families of the victims have peace.

I'd like to second these sentiments, and ask others on this forum to express similar thoughts rather…

    Betting,

I'd have to agree with you MH, most seatbelts never work.

Out of curiosity, do you mean that seatbelts in japanese taxis aren't effective (usually non-existent, I thought), or that seatbelts in general don't reduce the chance of injury and save lives?

    An utter disgrace.

I'm also wondering when this hits the international news.

Anyone know of any reports yet?

Well, we were all having a good laugh about it in the teacher's room of our school here in Oz this morning.
