Thank you Tomoko Hasada, great article.

well traditionally womanhood is like Xmas cakes, best used before the 25th. If that was playing on her mind 24 isn't so young. RIP young lady!

Such a stupid sign after a national disaster, just businesses piling on the feel good vibe to make money.

Neither of them did jack. All credit goes to where it belongs, the CIA and intelligence community that found him and the special forces unit that carried out the attack.

After they dropped the ball back in 1999-2001. Go easy on the back slapping, it was poor communication and arrogance on the US intelligence community's side that let OBL have such a successful attack on 9/11. Glad he's dead but America is no winner. 10,000 Vs 1 and countless thousands more innocents.

Rush Limbaugh, millions of dead head followers. millions of dead head haters pulling the US into the toilet together. Bill Gates, tech and philantrophic goliath. Hu Jintao, billions following his leadership out of the toilet. Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz al Saud, his reign will set the path for middle eastern stability or lack of. Richie McCaw, he is the benchmark all men aspire to be like.

Not the best timing on the day that Sony announces new tablets to compete with the iPad. New tablet is now tainted with bad security association. Timing sucks.

everyone is now using 3/11 to propagate whatever ends they have. I would have thought Okada would have been above that, by a long way, but I was wrong.

byejin flyjin, why wouldn't they? it's not like Japan actually would like them to stick around. No dual citizenship. foreign identification certificates and being labelled by the indegenous population as outsiders. The nature of itenerant workers is mobility. Japan was facing a crisis, Media hysteria was rampant and the fact that gaijin is the single biggest identifying label on these people it is obvious they are not actually integrated or integral to the society they were in. Loyalty is a two way street. Oh by the way what about the Japanese that fled Japan or high tailed it to western Japan? Surely less loyalty from them. Maybe they can be called something like "nigonejins" Good luck to them and I hope they have happy lives back where ever they came from.

Posted in: Why did those foreigners who decided to leave Japan in the aftermath of the March 11 disaster come in for so much derision from some people who labeled them with words like 'flyjin?'

Can we please see the next basho on TV?

Oh please God no, last thing people in Tohoku need is to think of their tax money funding this sham of a supposed sport. Tohoku folk are busy reconstructing their lives; watching TV from 3:00pm to 6:00pm isn't high on the list of things to do.

No I think 3 million is the start up money and the fund gets 15% of the shares of the company. If the business is successful then obviously the share value increases but initially the value of the company is 3 million.
