Sad news for their families on the eve of the holidays.

kind hearted wishes but there are no holidays until XMAS in NZ. tragic end for a great community, the coast hasn't had much luck with mining.

It is betterdays. Someone who wrote this has no clue.

The dude who escaped the mine said it. Miners know that with methane fires the level of CO is usually commensurate with the thickness of smoke. Tons of smoke= high CO concentrations so his quote was perfectly rational. He never said he smelt or saw it, he saw the smoke. Hope the guys all made it to safety. This will knock the coast back a bit if it ends in tragedy.

Religious right looking to interfere in popular culture again. Jebus the character was a knocked up cheerleader. Why would you get upset about a panty shot after that history?

How many Japanese are actually in this photo (you know 100% pure)?

Newsflash, Japanese isn't a race, it's a nationality. Glad to see some others at JT think likewise.

Yeah put them back in the bounciest part of the plane.

But in the three decades since, Ono has worked to keep his legacy vibrant, and continues to do so with the approach of his 70th birthday on Saturday.

More like worked to maximise her profits from her dead husbands works. Ono Yoko is such a egomaniac.

And Softbank still sucks. Crappy service and coverage. Clever commercials though.

Mission accomplished, tons of publicity from a wider range of media than she could have imagined. JT did pretty well from her as well.

    Flat tax = Dumb.

Offering no reason for a one word opinion=dumb. Flat taxes are the best and fairest way to take peoples' money in a democracy. Corporate taxes, rebates on employment, research and development costs and a flat tax rate on all other profits. Double the tax rate for people receiving welfare after retirement. Retired people getting a pension should be doing volunteer work and leaving paid employment to younger now unemployed folks.

Japan was the first to officially incorporate the island and that is how international law works otherwise we will have claims for every past Empire saying that at one time or another this territory or that territory was theirs.

Indeed we do have that happening all over the world now. But I agree with you.

The islands belong to Taiwan and Okinawa. It belongs to the indigenous peoples of these two places. The problem is mainlanders from China arrived in Taiwan and mainlanders from Japan arrived in Okinawa. Japan controls Okinawa and China claims Taiwan and the indigenous peoples get left with nothing.

Really like this. Geographically the Senkakus are not related to Japan so best claim must surely go to the Taiwanese. But possession is 99% of ownership, so Japan keeps them.

Joking, unless quitting and being stupid are traditional American values. Maybe for Southern whites but that electorate is getting smaller and smaller.

unfortunatly they will stop pitching to him if he gets close to the HR record. I'm sure he's been here long enough to understand that.

    Why would that be?
