"Afghanistan is in a worst condition then they were when we first announced success in pushing the terrorist out of their training camps"
Don't worry... the Italians have just announced a sincere interest in joining the fight ! Bwahaha ! The Italians ! Hell they know when to jump on the US bandwagon don't they... much like the French wading into Iraq after all these years to suddenly want to talk business. Have the Europeans no shame ??? I mean good god !

"Right now she's just going around and saying hello. Saying the US in under new management."
Odd, spounds like a campaign phrase to me. I mean the democrats do realize they won the election, yes ? So when are they going to start acting like it ? As for Hillary, George Stephanopolous tends to disagree with your view. He has written a story for ABC news detailing how Hillary has had almost all her powers taken away... for some reason. Go ahead, google it up if you must, fascinating read by one of the White House insiders.

"Millions of jobs. Not just a few here and a few there. Millions of positions that were send overseas and the people that moved these jobs overseas were given $Billion in tax breaks to send these jobs away from Americans."
You've failed to address those nations like Japan, China, Korea, Germany et al that continue to flood US markets with cheap affordable goods while not allowing access to their markets in return... a trend that has been going on well before the Bush administration. You go ahead and support Obama all you want... I would like to get the hell out of depressing "Japain" but I see no opportunity for work anytime soon in the states. Obama is screwing up, increasing the size of government ! That has never worked, and it won't work now. The US did not break the world economy... but it will be our job to save it.

"I'm glad that Obama has the helm now"
Yeh, he's only spent 700 billion plus in his first month in office, and for what ? According to those that have read the stimulus package... millions for "mice" !!!
Get over yer obsession with Bush folks. No he didn't rank as Americas worst pres in the latest poll by US historians either... not even close, and you watch, as Iraq settles into a full fledged democracy... Bush's ranking will rise. In the meantime.... "millions for mice" !

"Apparently you were asleep when Barack Obama was inaugurated. There were happy countries all over the place hoping that maybe they can work with the US."
And less than 30 days later ??? Like I said, China, France, Japan, etc are all moaning about the possibility of a "Buy American" clause in the stimulus package... that Obama has all but signed. And Hillary ? Hell all I saw on the internet was "Hillary Go Home" signs everywhere she went in Indonesia. But then again, I'm sure you know all that... pfffllt !

"Your comment is hilarious because your 2 votes for the previous president along with those of many other misguided countryfolk of yours are the key reasons your country is screwed."
"Your countryfolk" ? "Your country is screwed" ?
You mean to tell me "you" are not an American ? But you rant and carry on like some kind of "expert" on the people of the USA. Umm folks... feel free to ignore this poster... he knows not of what he speaks. Just another tabloid readin boob tube watchin Jerry Springer worship monkey ! Out!

A daydream posts:
"Just the fact that george bush is gone makes us better friends with most everybody now."
Yeh right. Sorry, but the last I checked everyone from Asia to Europe was moaning on and on about possible American market protectionism. No matter that under the Bush admin. the US posted top 3 rankings in global surveys from "market access to world competitiveness" ! But heck, I'm sure you know better, being the "international" jet setter you appear to be... bwahahaha !

Britain has always been awash in unsavory characters and people of poor morals and ethics. Chantelle and Alfie come from such households... and by the vast numbers of stories coming out in connection with this, it seems Britain continues down the road to hell.

"Eric Holder, the nation’s first black attorney general, said Wednesday the United States was “a nation of cowards” on matters of race, with most Americans avoiding candid discussions of racial issues."
I agree ! Trying to tell black Americans to clean up their act has gone over like a lead ballon. All the statistics and data simply get thrown out the window when anyone of any race confronts African Americans of their current situation. Let's hope Obama raises the bar and shows all black Americans what they are capable of... besides whining about racism !

Grafton: please !
"The British “Empire” by the way was not the monster that you paint it, it’s military was never that big & it relied on a lot of local help to govern any country that it did take over, so maybe the aftermath that you solely blame the Brits for could also be shared with the ancestors of those that you believe are still damaged by what was done"
Well, if the british empire was so loved and adored... why has virtually every nation under it's control either kicked them out or have retaken sole posession without any obligation to the crown ? I don't see the Jamaicans singing praises to England. Australia ? Hong Kong ? India ? ZIMBABWE !!! Face your history and maybe you will understand why Chantelle at age 15 really doesn't know who the father of this child is. England has been broken for decades and the best it's citizens could do is whine about America or run away and live/pollute other nations like Japan. I for one sing the praises of my country every 4th of July as we celebrate our victory over England and ultimate seperation of anything those thugs stood for... including slavery ! Yep, 3.5 million slaves courtesy of England ! Shameful ! But then again it seems that even the author of this story gets it... how else can you explain that giant leap from "Shakespeare to the Beatles" ??? Typical Brits, like nothing happened between those time periods. I beg to differ... it all happened. And the Britain you see today, the broken Britain, in all its yobbish glory is a result.

Pessimism in Japan is hurting the world's markets. Fact, asian markets open earlier than US... all this negative energy from Japan is dragging down the rest of the world. Japan needs to take care with all its "doomsday" predictions ! Japan should focus more on domestic opportunities and give up on export oriented tactics for a good 10 years. 'nuff said !

"I keep hearing all the republican trash about Obama's Afghanistan war now. About how Obama is going to get this job done. The right is so critical about Obama and how he's going to handle the Afghanistan and Pakistan problems. So mouthy. But when it was george bush's war..."
When it was George Bush's war there was no mantra of "change" !
Obama preached, promised, change... but will fail to deliver. Guess what... you all just got suckered !

Hillary seems to be on vacation here. I mean visits to shrines, chatting with familys of abductees, meeting royalty. Seems pretty clear, Hillary has made a courtesy call, p@ressed the flesh, and is simply biding her time for the real important meetings begin... with China ! Yep, a lot of running in place by Clinton but she has absolutely ignored the main issue facing Japan and the US... the economy ! Seems investors stateside have the same opinion, as the dow plunged 300 points upon hearing about her itinerary. Japan is in a tough spot. They have to suck up to the US but have been criticising the Americans for months. With the current exchange rate in team Americas favor... what is Japan gonna do ? They can't export to the US and make a profit, their neighbours want nothing to do with their export driven madness, wow... seems Japan is doomed without the USA. Too bad Aso, Nakasone, and Ishihara had to run their mouths. Ha-ha

Surely you jest. Just how many American professional ballplayers stay at different hotels from their teammates ? Hard for some of you to accept the truth, Ichiro is a class A "A-O" ! The Mariners aren't winning with him, send him packing... maybe "Pittsburgh" !
