There are no reasons at all for Japan to continue whaling at any level, (no cultural relevance except for a WW2 practice, no need as a food source and no proof what so ever relating it to scientific research) Australia and other countries need to offer Japan something in return.…

The Governor's response is totally irrelevant. Leasing the pandas was not a response to poisoned food/ products but a small act of good will. Of course the poisoning and quality problems need to be addressed but responses like this won't do a bit of good.
