Bad news because the 'world wide web' becomes the 'country wide web' for many sites. Korean sites only accessible (through direct input) by people who can type in korean; same goes for Japanese sites, etc.

Whaling used to be a part of European culture, but culture is flexible, it changes. Also interesting to note that sushi only became a popular cultural dish in Japan in the last 50 years. Before then, people only ate sushi once or twice a year.
