    sushi, not only do you not read the news,

    I do, and its always the same as this article. They accuse him of anti-Semitism for things he says or is alleged to have said, but I have yet to see anything "anti-Jewsih" in Ahmadinejad's comments. And I see that you are unable to provide one example of an "anti-Jewish rant".

    Check out some of sabiwabi's comments from the last 2 days. You'll see him blaming "the Jews", not the "zionists" or the "Israelis" like the used to.

    I checked out several of his/her comments; its crystal clear that he/she is criticizing Israel, not Jews. Again, I see that you are unable to provide one example of an anti-Jewish comment by Sabiwabi.

    I see that US leaders and the MSM continue to milk this story.

    Burning the Quran is bad, but who cares, leave this nutjob do whatever he likes, as long as he does not harm anyone and as long as he owns the books.

    The harm done from this story is from the excessive media attention. Again, I believe this media attention is intentional and serves to reinforce the mistaken idea that Muslims did 911.

    You guys have really strayed off topic, which means you have no answer for anything. Anyway, it's you guys (sabiwabi included) who go into passionate defense of Ahmadinejad's anti-Jewish rants.

    What anti-Jewish rants? He is very critical of Israel, and rightly so, but what exactly has he said that is anti-Jewish. Its my understanding that he has nothing against Jews. The only thing brought up in the article that could in any way be distorted into something anti-Jewish is his Holocaust "denial". I happen to agree with his statements related to the holocaust, they are in no way anti-Jewish views.

    You really should look beyond Iranian propaganda stats.

    Its not Iranian propaganda. Do you have any evidence that the Jews of Iran are mistreated, discriminated against, or treated as second-class people; or is this more of the usual Islamophobic propaganda?

    My problem is not so much with this idiot pastor, if he wants to burn a book its up to him, but I hope someone will inform him that he is burning the wrong book!

    My problem is with the big fuss that is made out of this insignificant little event.

    Japan will not hang someone for adultery, it is not even a crime.

    That's not quite true, about it not being a crime. If you have sex with a married person, their spouse can sue you and get quite a lot of money from you; be careful. BTW, I did not learn this from personal experience.

    BTW, wasn't she also accused of murdering her husband?

    There are 25,000 Jews living in Iran, the largest Jewish population in the Middle East outside Israel. The Iranian Jews are neither persecuted nor mistreated by the state, in fact the Iranian constitution protects them.

    They are free to practice their religion and to vote in elections.

    They are neither searched at checkpoints, nor brutalized by the army, nor thrown into a densely packed penal colony, nor deprived of basic means for survival.

    The office of president Ahmadinejad recently donated money to a Jewish hospital in Tehran.

    The MSM make Ahmadinejad to by an anti-Semite, the "new Hitler". But if that were true, then why did most Iranian Jews vote for him at the last presidential elections?

    Lets see, he has a fifty member church, $140,000 mortgage that he can't pay and runs a business on the side selling furniture on E-bay.

    This very SMALL "church" seems fishy to me. I saw the "pastor" on TV, even more fishy. I bet he is secretly backed by certain people with a deceptive agenda.

    Again, just like the protests over the Islamic center a few blocks from WTC (aka ground zero mosque), the purpose of this great uproar might only be to fix in everyone's mind that Muslims did 911.

    But for some reason, his opinion of someone's alleged anti-semitism is important enough to be in the news.

    Basically, he is just saying Ahmandinejad should not deny the Holocaust. Why is this newsworthy?

    Your reply does not show that Jack is incorrect, and less so completely incorrect. The commission concluded Israel did not plan well. So they were incompetent, but they still planned it.

    Those soldiers were likely sent there on purpose.
