  Oh I forgot to mention.....people like me who go for little walks and do pushups at the back off the plane behind the rear toilets.

  What irks me are those people who bring half of the duty free store on board and try to cram all of it into the overhead lockers, not to forget looks from cynical and jaded frequent flyers, who, of course, have done it all.

  Crime statistics may have decreased, possibly because of the intense camera monitoring these days, but a lot of crimes seem to be on the vicious side now.

  japanese homeless have more pride and class than most australians. they have my respect and i have no problem seeing them on my walks along the river.

  Bobcatfish, I've just arrived back in the land of the slow and overfed after five weeks saying with various Japanese families. I agree with your sentiments; I've also noticed, with compassion, the noble faces of the homeless during my walks.
