I wouldn't be surprised if Larry Ellison is suing Google to pay back parts of their Sun acquisition. Android is based on Linux, I'm not sure why they complain about a Java kernel. If Oracle win, I guess lots of companies will want to migrate from Java to something else, to prevent potential lawsuits. Ellison is known to be a jerk too.
He was a very good friend of Steve Jobs, who hated Google with a passion, and wanted to go nuclear because of Android.

At 75$ a gram, it must be reserved for the elite. No wonder pills are popular.
And I thought the DVDs were overpriced...

8000 yen a day. That's sad. I earn 3 times that and I'm sitting in front of a computer all day. My only health risks are blood cloth and spilling my coffee. I would have thought they would be more around 25 000 ~ 50 000 yen a day. At least.
For that amount, better work at some konbini or donki.

I don't know ANA's limit, but I wish it's less than for cars in most countries. I wished I didn't read this news, since I'm schedule to fly in 12 hours or so.

She should make CM for coke. She drinks one for breakfast and apparently drinks at least 5 every night for dinner. I don't know about the rest of the day, but doesn't look good.

I had no idea they had that much groups. That explains why you can't watch any TV without seeing a dozen of them, except maybe for chii sanpo.
I don't know where OJS is, but it sounds like ojisan48 to me. lol

I was kind of happy when I heard last week that this movie was canned. Notably because: 1. It`s been heavily Americanized. Even starred Keanu Reaves as main guy. 2. They redesigned the bike. Heavily! Hopefully, this one will stick more to the original.

This happens too the day another hackers group, called the A-Team, released a lot of information on all the LulzSec hackers. Name, address, date of birth, facebook page... all the stuff, as well as logs of various servers. You can check pastebin. http://pastebin.com/iVujX4TR I guess they'll all get arrested soon. They even finish their post with this: "If any law enforcment agency would like all the raw logs of everything please feel free to email THE A-TEAM!"

Good luck with that! With all the fighting inside the party, I doubt they can agree with other parties. At least as long as Ozawa-yaro is there.

I guess they didn't have a choice to go with the quad core, since Intel stopped manufacturing them a long time ago.

I played with one last weekend. It's faster and thinner than the first one, but the camera is pure garbage. The quality is lower than a 10 year old phone. All the pictures look compressed and full of artifacts. Apple should have spent 50円 more to put a decent one. But that's for the iPad 3.

It was inevitable. My bet is they wanted to increase tax, but a reconstruction tax is more voters' friendly than raising consumption tax.
Too bad they can't tax kick backs.
Posted in: The government is considering the introduction of a new tax to finance the huge costs of reconstruction in the Tohoku region following last month's earthquake and tsunami. What are your thoughts on such a tax?

So the problem is not that they don't have hot water or baths. It's old people don't like the bath's shape... Just go for sponge bath then.

If everybody's like this, the economy will tank.
How to make people spend? Plenty of electricity would be a start to power restaurants, shops and pachinko parlors. When you don't have the basics, you're not thinking of buying a new car, go to a spa or buy unnecessary stuff.
Posted in: Shoppers' appetite for spending is being restrained by a feeling that it is inappropriate when nearly 28,000 are dead or missing and more than 180,000 survivors huddle in shelters. What effect do you think this attitude will have on the economy this year and what is the best way to encourage people to start spending again?

They look like fools. This is not the time for cosplay! Might as well dress up as Ultraman, Gundam or Sailormoon to save the day!
They even wear them at diet. It doesn't look serious. If they were at the power plant or somewhere in Tohoku, then it would be ok; in Tokyo, strange.
