If I understand sushi sake3 correctly, Islamic extremists have been blowing up themselves and innocent Iraqis for six years, and will continue to do so, just to spite anyone who thought that Saddam Hussein had WMDs.

re "I see the Republican party does have a British version."

I see "JoeBigs" has no original thoughts on the matter and is hopelessly ignorant of not only UK politics but also the political landscape of his own country. How sad and embarrassing.

If only the Luddite Left could hope and hope and hold their collective breath and hope until blue in the face hard enough to make all that "bad" CO2 go away.LOL.

re "When are the U.S. conservatives going to start blaming climate change on President Obama?"

They can't. Obama sort of went all preemptive on them. Don't you remember all the impossibly silly hyperbole in the speech he made when he won the Democrat Party's nomination?

"......this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal......"

Once again, failed "liberalism" seems to lead directly to rise of fascist elements:

'The huge increases in migrants over the last decade were partly due to a politically motivated attempt by ministers to radically change the country and "rub the Right's nose in diversity", according to Andrew Neather, a former adviser to Tony Blair, Jack Straw and David Blunkett. (Telegraph reports)

'He said Labour's relaxation of controls was a deliberate plan to "open up the UK to mass migration" but that ministers were nervous and reluctant to discuss such a move publicly for fear it would alienate its "core working class vote".'

The rise of angry losers like Nick Griffin is actually quite predictable.

Obama's own hand-picked adviser on Muslim affairs, Dalia Mogahed, has repeatedly declared the majority of women worldwide associate Sharia with "gender justice."

Bin Laden's message of hate and separation goes unchallenged and unquestioned by "moderate" Moslems. It appears that the vast majority of the world's 1.2 billion Moslems are perfectly OK with him being the modern face of their faith.

Looks like ACORN was the trigger that set Obama off.

NY TIMES (Oct 22, Politics page) reports:

“By the following weekend, officials at the White House had decided that if anything, it was time to take the relationship to an even more confrontational level. The spur: Executives at other news organizations, including The New York Times, had publicly said that their newsrooms had not been fast enough in following stories that Fox News, to the administration’s chagrin, had been heavily covering through the summer and early fall — namely, past statements and affiliations of the White House adviser Van Jones that ultimately led to his resignation and questions surrounding the community activist group ACORN,”

Adding insult to injury, it looks like El Rushbo is on the money when he says he is "living rent-free in Obama's head" because the man's vanity is just too powerful a force on him.

All those strawmen he has created now just make Obama look smaller and smaller.

"Yes, we can", will define him as ironically as "I am not a criminal" does Nixon.

I have no problem with the Gitmo detainees being sent to Hyde Park, Chicago, or to San Francisco. For the record I have no problem with them being repatriated to the countries they left for Afghanistan.

Why won't European nations take them back? Why won't Middle Eastern nations welcome back these prodigals?

The sun has set on their church as well. How funny that even the Vatican is pointing this out to them. I almost feel sorry for Australian, Canadian and the assorted commonwealth Anglicans around the world who are still looking to Mother England. What is it like to be a complete anachronism?

"Like Rousseau said, you may not like what the man has to say, but you have to defend to your last breath his right to say it."

Great quote. But it wasn't Rousseau, the forerunner of the fascists and the Marxists, who said that.

Fox News may be a bit sensational but it is pay-per-view. Here is a taxpayer-funded monolith inviting a bunch of racist idiots to spew their beliefs for the benefit of the sheeple of Britain. It boggles the mind.

"Can any Americans on JT provide a rational answer as to why so many states and senators are against relocating Gitmo inmates into their states?"

We don't need to. America is a sovereign nation. Why don't you get a normal hobby. You seem obsessed or something.

If you think voting for Obama in an online 'have your say' poll got him elected you need to lay off the medical marijuana there.

I have no problems with Obama apologizing to yet another nation, it's clear now that the act of doing so is all about him.

Go to Hiroshima and Nagasaki - and then to Kyoto, to tell the world and ignorant American libs that this is the city where Japan's Manhattan Project was established.
