PM Maliki needs to apply full weight of Iraq law to this criminal if he wants to set a good example of law and order to his country. If he fails to do this, I will not be surprised when next time a bag of dog poo exploded on his face or even worse ..a grenade.

I may think so as well, but it just cost far far toooo much. If he could at least listen to Gen. Shinseki I believe that his story in Iraq would not be so messy.

Well,the "famous" shoes thrower is in hospital now,with broken arms or legs or something ; lucky him ,he is still in one piece and not in a coffin. Bush made a grave mistake to allow people looting governments offices after the fall of Bagdad without punishment to maintain law and order. This current Iraqi government is smarter...without law and order ,no way you can govern Iraq.

Wow ,I suspect that from now on in the present of any US president guests will not be even allowed to bend over to scratch their feet! The response of security service was rather slow ,second shoe was unacceptable. People hate Bush thats why they think its funny, but imagine Obama was treated like that!

This guy now can even say that after WW2 Japan has been skillfully employing American soldiers to protect its territory without America even realising it! He is out of the job now ,it doesn't matter really. He should know the fact no Asian country thinks that Japan was "gentler " than France or Britain...more brutal for sure.
