BBLeo, relax. It's not the end of the world. By the way it's loser not looser.
I like Kitajima's attitude. He keeps pointing out to the press and the public that it's the SWIMMERS not the SWIMSUITS that are making these records. Unfortunately, this time the wearers of the suits seem to be getting some kind of advantage.
I think that if the suits are really giving an advantage to the wearer, perhaps they should be banned like the Spaghetti Racket in tennis. If not, then everyone would have to use the racket, or swimsuit, in order to be competitive.
Maybe DeepAir65 has the right idea...

I know a lot of Japanese people with more than one phone, and I'm sure all of the talents and idols will be running to get one, just so they can say they have one. I have never owned a mobile phone or an iPod, so I am thinking that maybe it's time to buy.... But before I invest my hard earned yen, I want to see what kind of two-year contract I have to sign-up for. I may end up just getting a 32g iPod touch instead.

Beelzebub, I'm pretty sure that he was just feeding the strays outside the apartment. We used to do that until the neighborhood gestapo kept coming around outside our building and complaining in loud voices that someone was feeding cats. Can't say I felt like stabbing any of them, but my wife might have been inclined to. At any rate, we stopped the feeding and the cat howling began. Oh well. If we were allowed to have cats in our apartment, we would have had those two strays.

This is a sad story. I too enjoyed watching her, and was shocked by the news. I'm still waiting for proof that she did in fact kill herself. On her blog the last entry was 5/24. Didn't seem out of the ordinary.

The parts are provided from companies all over the world, not just Japan. Ultimately, as archiebald said, it is Boeing's responsibility.
I heard that there was trouble fitting the parts together. Wonder if that caused a redesign of the parts causing these delays.

I heard that his bag was stolen by someone in the crowd. I imagine a lot of people will have to change their email addresses and phone numbers if his phone was in it. They also never said if the fans were all Korean, or if there were a fair amount of Japanese fans mixed in.
