They are a bunch of brain-washed neanderthals out of control and getting ready to spill blood for a bunch of rocks in the middle of the sea. Just to prove what point? Their government is sitting on the side lines laughing their butts off and knowing that if this continues, their country will lose so much so fast for so little. Keep it up China, that is what America wants. If you continue this way, it will open way for official use of the Ospreys and who knows what else. Hoora.....

Should be this harsh for mothers killing their kids too. Why just male parents? This is bias and complete unfair law practice.

I agree with you Budda! That's a powerful statement but an all true one. Mexicos problem is beyond internal. It starts with the presidency and ends with the drugs. Mexicos main export is drugs so fighting against it means no business for Mexico.

According to the Chinese media, some Chinese nationalists are preparing to attemp to land in the island again but this time they are gonna be even more aggressive than last time. Also if this happens and shots are exchanged or if even one Chinese life is lost in that event, the Chinese government will use that as a means to pivot itself into going to war. It's not the main government that is stirring up all this trouble. I would have to say that it is being caused by the Chinese nationalists. They are the cause of all of this. The government should put a stop to them first and then all this would scale down. If not, The US has already made it clear. Japan and the Philippines are their allies and they will defend if attacked. So it's Chinas next move.

I admit that the only conclusion I jumped in to is the miscommunication or should I say the no-communication she had between her friends or loved ones. I get really upset at these types of news where someone takes the life of their own sibling(s) for the sake of what? Stress? self pity? it does not redemp her at all. No matter what amount of steer anyone can be under, it is not acceptable to kill your own child. If she was depressed, her family might have been able to save that child from this demise. It's just unacceptable. I can render myself to believe it was depression that caused this. She needed help from everyone close to her!

Of course there is no need to jump to conclusions but when you look at the rate these kinds of cases are posted and how they are handled by the authorities, you would have to wonder, how is that a country with so much pride, technology, science and what have not, is still lacking basic common sense and basic common social skills. It is really boggling. AND BY THE WAY, my first posted message was not all that bad. Why am i docked that way, the social fabric in Japan is in ALOT of trouble.

Sounds like his friend did it and they split the funds. Mo injuries sounds a bit fishy, and he cooperated so swiftly without a fight. Sounds dodgy...

Maybe one of those coins should have had an engraving of the Harley-Davidson bike that made it across the Pacific. They should have called it "Endurance" and maybe, just maybe, another one just showing a flower and an inscription of a prayer for all those that perished and those that are still grieving. That could be more commemorating and worth buying.

Damn... is this creaky in the forecast? A blown volcano? in this case Mt Fuji? If that really happens, it doesn't matter where we evacuate to. Just getting out of Tokyo would be an impossibility. There aren't enough passage ways to get everybody out in time. Where would we go to that's safe? If we go north, the aftermath of the Tohoku disaster still lingers. If we go south the ash and possible road infrastructure would be taken out with the blast or weight of the ash and rocks. There is no where to run to. We are all sitting ducks.

sad.... just sad. I could imagine the depression she will be in now. But what about her husband? Where is HE in this picture? If she needed someone to talk to, why not him? What about her parents, her friends, her doctor? There a lot more people involved in this mothers life. Ahats happening to the social fabric of Japan? It's disintegrating at a really fast pace.

Right... so what are they planning? I read somewhere that Chinese netizens are asking the government to use the island as a live fire target practice target. Let's see what they do next.

For those of you looking for facts and answers, smithinjapan in right. Also let's take a look at Ishiwara's comment. Well said but we cannot underestimate the Japanese either. If we really want to hurt China, we just have to stop depending on their manpower and cheap labor. For once, start paying what's right and get your own country citizens to do the work. That would creat jobs, boost economy and strengthen this country. And we have to see China as the sleeping giant, but there's also a saying, the bigger they are they are the harder they fall.

Wait a minute! The government is going broke but they have the cash to buy the Senkaku Islands for 2+billion yen? That's doesn't sound right. Somehow priorities are not being taken seriously. Those islands are not going anywhere. Get the government in order first, start compensating the Tohoku victims and their families, contain the radiation problem then buy the islets from the owner with the money donated and take it from there.
