majority in Switzerland worry in their own safety and future therefor it is reflexed on their vote. instate of the muslim feel any bad in their image, they as always blaming their bad reputation on the swiss.
no one can give islam and the Muslim bad image but only the muslime themselves.
if the Islam is not such a religion that call for the fight until the unbeliever (to Allah)feel themselves subdued. and if the muslim stand up for what right and wrong, stop protecting allah's lunatic rampaging the world today as we see right here right now. people wouldn't fear them. and fear wouldn't turn to hate.
they have done too little positive compare to its darker side.
keep blaming us, blaming every non-muslim for whatever bad you have done, it is not going to help.
people today fear of islam and now fear turn to hate, that is the fact. behave yourself, stop those treating us, we stop hate you.

kinniku, You familiar with Sura Al-Tawba’s chapter9? It is "the Ultimatum". let me say it one more time, that chapter is "the Ultimatum". and Verse 29 of that chapter said;
“Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger nor, acknowledge the Religion of Truth from among the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizyah with willing submission and feel themselves subdued.”
that chapter, that verse did explain why they keep fighting. conception of peace for those reading the book can be very difference from the rest of us.
"fight until they pay the Jizyah with willing submission and feel themselves subdued."
that is when the fight will be ended and when the peace will come for them.
now we got 3 group of people reading 3 books of doom. if everyone of them think that their book their religion is the only "Religion of Truth", the rest are not. what will happen? yeah they will keep on fighting those reject their god. something we are seeing today.
it point less talk about peace with them.

abromofo, aikido is an arts of defend. it can do nothing if the opponent don't throw the first punch.
one of my old friend mix aikido(defend arts) with mui-thai(the offending part of it), and it turn out to be a very interesting one.

as Suzu1 said, why limit it only to the west? it is the whole world the muslim is rampaging.
by the way, personally i can not see it as a crash of "civilizations" since i don't view any social create entirely base on islam ideology as civilization.

@sabiwabi
you still wonder "WHY"? ok this is some info for your ignorance.
Mohammed Bouyeri murdered Van Gogh in 2 November 2004, Bouyeri then cut his throat nearly decapitating him, and stabbed him in the chest. Two knives were left implanted in his torso. one attaching a five-page note to his body. The note ( http://www.militantislammonitor.org/article/id/312 ) threatened Western governments, Jews and Ayaan Hirsi Ali (who went into hiding). The note also contained references to the ideologies of the Egyptian organization Takfir wal-Hijra. The murder of Theo Van Gogh bears similarities to the fates of 7th century poets Abu 'Afak, Asma bint Marwan and Ka'b ibn al-Ashraf who were all murdered after having written critically about Muhammad.
Imam Fawaz of the as-Sunnah Mosque in The Hague gave a sermon several weeks before the murder in which he called Theo van Gogh "a 'criminal bastard' and beseech[ed] Allah to visit an incurable disease upon the filmmaker."
still wonder why he dead? still wonder why people don't like muslim way of force express their freedom upon us?

you can actuary, but someone will sue you and you get to pay "fine" for what you said.
what will happen if you publicly make fun of anything relate to islam? ask Theo Van Gogh. well, he dead. he was stabbed to dead in public by... you know it.
if you think make fun of any religion is wrong, then sue them, not kill them.

I do agree with priority sit, but I have no problem with make up in a train. After all it is his or her space. I don’t care as long as the lipstick won’t fly to my face when she tumbles.
I do have problem with some that try their best to stand block the exit door. i see this type of moron every morning. this people won't move into the center of the car, and when some people need to get off they won't open the way easily.
next is the "can't touch this " guy type of ojisan. Usually on the crowded evening train, some oji doesn't want anyone to touch him or even come close or he will get really fussy. But he can grab on the upper handle and elbow everyone in front of him, he won't feel a thing then!

even if i don't like islam and i am not a member of any religion.
i still thing that people should have the right to believe in whatever they want to for as long as they keep it to themselves.
banning religion on politic is sounded better to me.
