I agree with AllAmericanHero; Course it takes longer in Afghanistan and Iraq, they have neighbors hostile to the US, and flooding them with weapons and nut jobs.
Even so, they are being routed. Suicide bombings will end soon, mark my word.

adaydream- We are using a minute amount of our forces at present. We have huge reserves.
The Russians know we can whip them in a conflict. They have aging equipment and poorly trained troops. They couldn`t even control Afghanistan in the Soviet era when they were stronger than now.
Don`t worry Russia will leave Georgia, they are just showboating, because they look foolish.

adaydream- We have the strongest military force in the world. The Russians are aware of this. If we warn them Russia will understand the severity of their actions.
The US will not tolerate thugs who attack innocent nations and kill civilians.

I agree with StealthBomber.
Russia must not aspire to colonise its neighbours as the Soviets did.
Bush and Condi must be firm with Russia and spell out the consequences of their actions, that is bif they do not stop.
Russia must stop its aggressive methods of dealing with problems.

Brit plans to skate down Mt Fuji on the worlds most crap looking skateboard. Tee Hee!!
I must admire him doing this for charity. I hope Japanese tv reports o this, and people will start to underfstand the meaning of charity, and the lengths some go to helping others.
Shame, but charitable donations by Japanese are very low compared to other rich nations.

FYI, i am NOT a JP-Hater, i am married to a Japanese. I hate double standards and racist attitudes. I do not expect this Russian to be dealt with as fairly than a Japanese would. Discrimintion is vile, but rife in Japan.

romulus3; Obviously you have low self esteem. You do not nsme your country, only that you are n "outsider". No surprise then your attitude towards this wrestler.

romulus3; The Russians case is not finished yet either. "dope smoking Gaijin", is a very derogratary term to use to a foreigner.

Japan is like China, trying to punish demonstrators. It has no right to arrest the anti whalers, especially when they are illegally dealing in whales caught for food, pretending it is for science. The world can see how facist you are Japan.

I agree with Sarge. The extremists are hoping Obama wins, and when he runs away from Iraq, they will return with a Taliban style government.

Iraq had many secret military programmes. These have not been revealed to the public, due to thir top secret nature. Saddam was capable of alunching a huge attack on the US mainland. Iran is able now to lauch a massive offensive. The reason it does not, is the knowledge that they will be nuked.

no US president would want to ban nukes. They deter rogue states such as Iran from launching attacks.
Saddam, may have attacked the US, if there was not a threat of nuclear defence from the US. We live in a highly militirised world, nuclear weapns are the bes t way to maintain peace.
