Tmarie, apparently he was questioning her about some suspicious phone call. maybe it's only me, but I completely hate the katakana "darling" (like in "was is your Darling today"), and I hate when Japanese girls talk about themselves using the name (like in "just broke Uno's phone", instead "my phone".

the roads near stations and other central locations are completely jammed with these guys. police doesn't say anything. more than half of the taxis running at night are without customers. and 90% of the cars running at night are taxis. something is wrong here

biglittleman, actually in Japan quite many of them chose to become homeless, there was a program on TV about it. just depressed with their sararyman life, or they were fired, or were kicked out by wife, etc. and I would ad that being lazy or doing many bad choices in life is also a matter of choice. Of course, there are many unfortunate cases as well
more details: what bike was he riding, SUzuki Hayabusa? did he have a license?
