I've always spend Christmas in the mountains skiing. With a girl. It's great: the snow, the food, the hot spring. And guess what: it's even cheap, because it's Christmas

I've heard they have some great tarento agencies in Italy, the best is the one owned by Rocco

Wolfpack, you should know that the bikini models in this country, if they are cute enough, in short time become singers, tarento and actresses. not that I can see anything wrong with that :)

Blacknight, as an answer to your question, there was something on TV. apparently some historians found a document signed by a few American generals, who ordered a large scale attack on Japan to happen just a few days after Pearl Harbor. the document was signed before the Japanese attack. so either there was pure coincidence, either the Japanese knew about the American attack

a very unfortunate accident. my parents-in-law live in Komae, and streets are awfully narrow there. and a 19 month old in very difficult to see and very unpredictable in his movement

I got a Visa card and A MasterCard at 22, as a student, because they had a campaign at my uni. lucky I guess. but I have a funny story. I have the two aforementioned cards, and I was always on time with the payment. never had any trouble. I have a steady and respectable income (researcher), I've been living in Japan for 10 years, my wife is Japanese. So when I went to the local Tsutaya, they told me that their credit card is a good deal, so I applied for it. after about 4 weeks, never-heard-of-bank send me a letter to get lost, I don't present enough guarantees for those monthly 1000 yens spent on DVDs...

my wife was the opposite: she is very thin, which is normal in Japan, and she had a huge complex when we lived in US. but she was smart enough to start going to gym instead of pigging out for me stress is a problem, and I struggle to quit that snack that goes so well with the late night beer. don't dare telling me to quit the beer though

wait a minute, was there any connection between the two? hard to believe that the guy randomly broke into somebody's house, found a sleeping beauty sleeping (at 11, kinda early, huh?) and started hugging her. a former girlfriend? a girl he knew and wanted to surprise her and tell her how much he loves her? or just plainly the guy is nuts maybe?

if people want tourism to flourish, they should do something about the crazy surcharges on plain tickets. I don't know about Hawaii, but for a $1000 plain ticket to Europe for winter vacation I had to pay $500 taxes. And the same destination, but using JAL, was $800 the ticket (and darn I was happy), then to find out they tax $800 more for whatever reasons. and most Japanese fly with JAL or ANA
