I feel that the only way for these pirates to be detered from the dangerous game that they're playing, is for more of them to be killed. Paying them ransom money is only going to encourage, and enable them.

I wonder why the pirates dn't try to take one of the naval ships that are trying to disrupt their livelihood, don't they think they can get more in ransom money from foreign governments for the return of their nval ships?

Superlib: LOL... Thanks for making me spill my coffee all over my keyboard. taniwha: I'll attempt to nswer your question, just for the sake of argument. I feel that the pirates should be dealt with, by force, and I don't care which country they come from, USA, Somalia etc. The thing is, they don't come from the USA, so we will just have to stick to reality on this one.

DXXJP: First of all, congrats to you, and I sincerely wish you well. I have laced up my boots before. I got out of the Corps' in 92'. Now with all of that aside, please tell me where in any of my posts did I say nuke em'. I think what I've advocated was to shoot them on sight, and keep shooting until they are wiped out. I have no compassion for them whatsoever, and I've obviously missed your post where you suggested the dummy ships, and for that I apologize. Good luck to you in your service.

taniwha: So what about the people that the cargo on the US flagged ships were meant for? Does your heart go out to them as well, or just your pirate buddies? And I also ssume that if you were slapped in the face, you would just take it, and blame the US for that as well?

DenDen: There you go crying again. At least it wasn't an American ship which is the responsibility of the American military, to protect it's citizens. Keep up the crying thought, it's giving me good laughs. :-D

DXXJP: So what are you, an arm chair pacifist? It's always so easy to blame the victims and not the perpetrators isn't it. Why don't you follow your own advice and stop running your mouth and assist the pirates that you love so much? Why shed so many tears for pirates that don't give a damn about you, and would treat you as just another cash cow had you been on any one of those ships? Invest in a lot of tissue, because it seems like you will be crying for some time to come.

Okinawamike: Very well said. It's not up to the United States to rescue citizens of other countries, if their own governments just sit on their dead a$$e$ and do nothing. The United States sent their military to rescue one of their own as they should have. Stop blming the United States for your goverments lack of ba11$.

bishamonten: I'm quite sure that those Navy SEALS wish they had the courage you do, oh wait, they were actually there at the action while you are safe at your keyboard crying the blues. Poor Poor bishamonten. You're actually worse than the pirates, as I'm sure they would have no compassion for you, just in case you were ever fortunate enough to become one of their hostages. We could only hope.

Den Den How is it that the US started this so called game, if the pirates as you say, already have 300 plus hostages. Your crying and whining is amusing.

Mexico is so tired. They are well on their way to becomingthe next Somalia, meaning no form of government with warlords/drug lords running the show, so they hould try to get all the whoppers they can, while they still can.

ca1c0cat: you are right on with tht one. It's amazing how these bleeding hearts always want to blame the victims, and not the perpetrators. The pirates positioned themselves to be killed. If you bleeding hearts don't like it, then dip into your bank accounts, and pay off the pirates.

bishamonten: You just said yourself that they killed one out of all those they have taken, isn't that murder? Unless the hostage asked to be taken, and asked the pirates to assist in his death. And if they re trying to avoid killing so much, then why are they boarding the ships with AK-47's instead of roses. You can't be that naïve. Although your other point is well taken, Viva La France!!!

I say, some new business has just opened up for Blackwater. Start putting those guys on the merchant ships as guards.

Why in the world should the ships have to pay taxes for sailing in international waters? Had the pirates found an honest means of employment, then maybe they would still be alive. I'm sure they knew the risks of their actions.

For those out there, that re super sensitive, and/or are bleeding hearts, you've got to relize tht the more pirates that are killed, the less stomach they will have to engage in their illegal activities. They are disrupting commerce, and are engaged in kidnapping, and sometimes murder. A violent death is what these vermin deserve.

DXXJP: Since you know me so well, at least well enough to answer your own question to me, you tell me what plan b is, as I stand by what I said earlier, and to answer your question, I would have to be in the situation personally to be able to give you an answer. The pirates are worthless, and not contributing to society in possitive way, therefore they should be exterminted, if that opinion ruffles your sensibilities, oh well.

I only wish more pirtes were killed. No mercy or compassion for them whatsoever. They all deserve to die. I know this sounds extreme to some, but so be it.
