  A shame, something must be done to protect these fish. I really wish there was an international group that focused on preservation and sustainability. Overfishing bluefin? Fines and penalties!

  If the currency is back up to levels like this permanently, I'd like to see more Made in Japan products. These days most of the stuff I see from them is made in China, Korea, or Mexico and quality has taken a toll.

  We are in for an interesting 2015-2020. Lot of tech in infant stages now will change life as we know it. Funny how we're in 2013 though, and it was thought years ago that life would look like the Jetsons now. Not even close.

  Nice, my car is pictured. It's hard to find Made in Japan cars anymore, everything is being manufactured offshore. But the trade deficit proves Japan is in quicksand.

  Disappointing. I think I remember, maybe 10 years ago, being a teen and watching NHK about the declining birthrate. It's like a rollercoaster that never stops the downhill surge. What can be done about that? Encouraging birth with stimulus or cheaper daycare is a start, but seems like a tall order to get it back up without immigration big-time.
