Interesting way to cut the full quote, Nishida then goes on to describe Mixi as "a culture that is more like students talking in the girls' restroom at school." Foreign owned companies have trouble breaking into the Japanese market because their are foreign owned. A handful of these companies should be doing better but they do not get the press nor publicity of Japanese owned and operated companies. Not surprising. Facebook on the other hand is spreading across the globe at an alarming rate, what is Mixi doing? Catering to restroom conversations in one and only one country; Mixi is strictly for Japanese in Japan let's leave it at that.

If you want to carry and read books, get a Kindle. Not sure how fast the author of this article turns pages but a Kindle turns just about as fast as a normal book. And the last time I checked, regular books are in grey scale as well basically. the kindle has the advantage of not causing eye strain because there is no back light. Bottom line is you buy a Kindle to read books, not surf the web.

We can start tearing down all the gay bars right after the morally correct ones tear down the hostess clubs, porno shops, "massage rooms", Kabukicho, and all the obscene manga featuring what looks like younger individuals.
Your moral high ground isn't as clean and righteous as you think.
The gay clubs and areas give a relatively safe area for some individuals to feel like themselves and not have to worry what others may think or do. It would be a shame if the area entirely disappears.

It's difficult enough trying to get an older family member to go in for Alzheimer's testing. No one wants to hear that they are going to slow lose their mind and them die from it. Family members and the doctor of the individual need to carefully explain and reason with the family member who has this horrific disease. Abruptly taking something like this or anything else away can have a bad effect on everyone involved. I think that in most cases the individual with Alzheimer's will give up driving so they don't injure or hurt anyone, then it's in the family's hands to help with readjustment, everyone needs to play a part.

The article about this topic is totally misleading, it wasn't a Reality TV show it was a documentary shown on TV created by a Canadian film maker. http://www.cbc.ca/arts/tv/story/2008/12/10/suicide-documentary.html The topic is touchy enough as it is, without a new organization and it's writers trying to create some sensationalism out of it.
