    After touching her inadvertantly, was the man to know that the woman did not enough being touched?

    Obviously not all sexual encounters start with verbal request and verbal statements of permission.

    Which is correct? "Touch until told not to" "Touch only when told it is okay to do so"

    Surely it depends upon the situation, and other non-verbal communication that one recieves too. I don't think that the situation necessarily precludes the possibility of consent.

    I hope that in some manner the woman in question communicated the fact that she was displeased with the man's attentions.
