1 - She is obviously old enough to make her own decisions. We don't really know if she is a pre-teen or a woman, so all discussion on age for this photo is null.
2 - Can't a girl wear what she darn well pleases?!? Who cares if it doesnt fit the norm.. If you're not being forced to wear it, then don't worry about it!
3 - The Lolia trend is only seen as 'creepy' to those who are having the inner battle of feelings themselves. You can not misconstrue your own projected emotions as fact. Fashion is an artform, therefore the beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
4 - Live a little! Geez! Next time you see someone wearing loafers, or a simple polo. Take a picture, then blog about how you think their outfit is causing an unhappy stir in your soul.. ;P

this article appears to have an overwhelming similarity to American Culture.. most of our media (but not all) is the worst dribble.. and its getting worse! take your average reality tv program geared towards youth culture on Mtv, VH1, etc.. Can anyone honestly tell me that Real Housewives of New Jersey is going to further our nation?? haha
If anything is crippling our popular culture of variegated linguistics, its the cell phone and all it's texting glory! Even as i'm typing this comment, i am already struggling to compose complete sentences and thoughts, and correct spellings to bring the point of this article across. Oh yes, and i could not resist the 'i haz cheezburger' relevance to my argument ;)

Interesting... one of my room mates is a "freegan" and actually spent last summer in central park w/ a band of young homeless & runaways. A "freegan" is someone who doesnt believe in spending money to satisfy your survival needs such as shelter, food, water, etc.. He's actually a rather skilled "dumpster diver", where he goes to specific locations to get past due date juice, bananas, etc.. He actually brought home about 40 blueberry breakfast bars yestderday that are perfectly good! it's a shame markets have to throw away perfectly good food.. a afew days ago he brought home about $50 worth of very expensive mushrooms and kale that were still in their protective plastic... i think dumpter diving will become more frequent if these tumultuous times continue..

This guys is a record breaking Olympic champion..and smoking weend is still looked down upon? Do they really think he's not a regular smoker?? How is it that your prosecuted for smoking a dried, natural plant, but its perfectly okay to smoke chemical laiden cigarettes that are sure to keep you addicted (& give you some sort of cancer)? Hmm??
People are so easy to judge, I SWEAR!

What annoys me the most about airport staff is when you miss your flight due to the security line taking forever. Once you have the realization your plane has already left, you get fustrated & upset..of course. But when you try to plea w/ the flight attendant to get you on the next flight, they give you a smug look & give you attitude as if you threatened their children.. Its rediculous! You just want to get home to your loved ones, but then they treat you like their the victim.. eh, i swear..
They have too much power sometimes.. But thats not all the time, I have encountered numerous sweethearts..

Yeah, I think the problem with all the suicides & crazy crimes is from the crushing pressure of having to be/act a certain way to be accepted by japanese society. Along with these pressures comes very serious depression and anger issues.
Normally, if a person is feeling some sort of despair or suicidal thoughts, they usually get counseling or take therapy. Japanese society actually looks down on this. They believes that if you can not handle your own problems (i.e. if you recieve counseling), then you are a weak person. So ppl who need counseling dont ask for the help, hense breaking down and committing suicide or lashing out on other ppl (i.e. Japan's recently rich criminal association)..
But these stories shouldnt deter anyone from visiting this amazing place.. Its thick culture is something amazing to experience.
