Yes, but only people who give logic a wide pass - that'd be Republicans - would think that these 'Biden quotes' still mean anything now that Biden and Obama are as close knit as McCain and abject failure are.

Keep flailing sushi, it'd be a bit of a shock after all this time to see you in any other state.

if I was Obama I would snub Clinton too

Biden is not that much different than Hillary. They're both senators with no leadership ability to add to Obama's complete lack of same.

    Here you go, taka.

    Thursday, February 24, 2000 * Volume 21, No. 26

    Jason Ma

“I will continue to condemn those who unfairly mistreated us,” McCain said in a statement released Feb. 21. “But out of respect to a great number of people for whom I hold in very high regard, I will no longer use the term that has caused such discomfort… I apologize and renounce all language that is bigoted and offensive, which is contrary to all that I represent and believe.”

"We hope that people understand that the senator was referring very specifically to the men who beat and tortured him for five and a half years in a prisoner of war camp,” McCain campaign spokesperson Dan Schnur said on Friday. “His language in no way represents his feelings toward the people in Vietnam or the Vietnamese American community.”

I completely agree that every neo-con talking head with a job in "news" secretly hoped for an Obama/Clinton ticket,

Powerline: "I was afraid that Obama would tap Bayh, a serious man with executive experience and political appeal in a red state.

I breathed a sigh of relief that Obama chose Biden"

El Rushbo:“I really hope it’s Biden. You don’t want to say that too loud, but I really do hope that it’s Joe Biden, because we’ve got a mountain of archival audio on Joe Biden.”

Politico:"Republicans have at their disposal a long trail of Biden quotes speaking fondly of — and affiliating himself with — McCain."

Homer Joe Biden, trying to outdue Hillary, or taken out of context - speaking on the East Indian influx to Delaware:

"You cannot go into a 7-11 or a Dunkin Donuts without an Indian accent."

Joe Biden describes Barack Obama back in 2007:

“I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy, I mean, that’s a storybook, man.”

Madverts - there must be some mistake. Your site lists a* maximum* of 94 000 killed these five years in the Sunni - Shia war. That is way, way less than the figguh (figure) given by that shrieking twink from the Lancet [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WwLp5P_i53c] whose 600 000 dead by Nov of 04 you usually cite.

Biden's the right pick for the Democrat party.

    It's a balanced ticket - a black racist and a white one.

Heh, I'd hate to see what you guys call a failure.

Failure? How about you lot, in Basra, and the deal you cut with Al Sadr.

    Shameful.

Highlight: Kobe Bryant, wildly popular in China, schooling some chuckle-headed tool working for MSNBC - or the Chi-Coms, kinda hard to tell:

Collinsworth: Tell the story when you first got your USA uniform.

Kobe: Well I had goosebumps and I actually just looked at it for awhile. I just held it there and I laid it across my bed and I just stared at it for a few minutes; just because as a kid growing up this is the ultimate, ultimate in basketball.

Collinsworth: Where does the patriotism come from inside of you? Historically, what is it?

Kobe: Well, you know it’s just our country, it’s... we believe is the greatest country in the world. It has given us so many great opportunities, and it’s just a sense of pride that you have; that you say "You know what? Our country is the best!"

Collinsworth: Is that a ‘cool’ thing to say, in this day and age? That you love your country, and that you’re fighting for the red, white and blue? It seems sort of like a day gone by.

Kobe: No, it’s a cool thing for me to say. I feel great about it, and I’m not ashamed to say it. I mean, this is a tremendous honor.

Among the people being freed Monday is a militant mastermind who carried out a deadly market bombing three decades ago.

Three decades ago. I hope the poor militant mass murderer has been apprised of the changes that have occurred back home while he was locked up. If he gives the wrong answer on the wrong street in Hamas-ruled "Palestine" he'll be wishing he was back in an Israeli jail cell.

    Relax, Madverts.

No McCain or Hillary supporter will be able to insult Obama (and the ticket the Dems are now stuck with) quite like Joe Biden already has:

"I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy, I mean, that's a storybook, man."

    Obama loved it:

"Everybody's watching what's going on in Beijing right now with the Olympics. Think about the amount of money that China has spent on infrastructure. Their ports, their train systems, their airports are all vastly the superior to us now, which means if you are a corporation deciding where to do business … you're starting to think, "Beijing looks like a pretty good option." Why aren't we doing the same thing?"

    Pathetic.

Patriotism, as Dr. Johnson tells us, is "the last refuge of a scoundrel".

And the Left, as George Orwell (Lion and the Unicorn) tells us, will always lose democratic elections whenever they cross the line where they begin to impugn and mock the patriotism of ordinary citizens; in this race by having called them "bitter", by caricaturing them as "clinging to guns and religion" and by intimating that their supposed racism is both inbred and a consequence of "economic injustice."

I see Obama and his handlers as having repeated that fateful and stupid mistake. Joe Biden on the ticket changes nothing.
