Ai Haruna is a woman guys as in correct parts for the clothes. She may not have been born that way but if you didn't tell me I wouldn't know. For the record I would have no problem taking her home for the night, she's beautiful.

Good for her, Japan is actually way more mature on the whole transgender thing than America is. My wife's cousin lives as a man and is much happier, sometimes nature does get it wrong.

The only Toyota product I would consider is a Toyota engine powering the Lotus Evora. I'm not particularily worried about Toyota's recalls they just make boring cars that's all.

Seize the moment and pass the great insuarnce company bailout. Don't come crying when you lose the majority because you stuck this bad piece of legislation through with a procedural tactic. I'm really dissappointed that more Democrats aren't standing up to this half baked mess. This is not the reform we want, it doesn't control costs, probably won't have a public option and only eneriches the insurance companies.

I thought all they did was mill about and moo "irrashai masen". Perhaps pausing to re-fold the same shirt they've already folded 3 or 4 times on that shift. I'm not feeling too much sympathy, get a better job if you don't like it.

I think Starbucks is in the right here. If you don't want people carrying guns than ban them in your city or town. Why should Starbucks have to make a policy about it.

adaydream: I think both the Repubs and Dems are just fine with the handout to insurance companies just the repubs have to look like they're the opposition and party of no. I don't want this bill, as I said it's not universal healthcare but a mandate that puts taxpayer money in the hands of the insurance industry. If they went after national health insurance I would be behind it 100%, that is after all what this was supposed to be. Too many compromises and thinking that passing a bad bill is better than passing no bill. Dean was right when he said vote it down.

Welcome to a Republican majority in both houses after the next election. If this is passed by reconciliation the incumbent democrats are going to pay bigtime. Personally I want to see universal coverage and a public option which this bill doesn't contain. This is a mandate that amounts to a taxpayer handout to the insurance industry. This bill deserves to die and I'm questioning why Obama would stake his party's future on such an incomplete measure. Again no one wants this, not conservatives obviously but not progressives either.

Never knew Benecio Del Toro was Puerto rican, I always assumed Mexican, maybe because of his roll in "Traffic". My wife has a thing for him. I can't believe a reporter asked that stupid question, can you picture him being an herbivore, he usually plays a badass?

I'll clarify my post for the youngsters, Chile assisted the British in the Falklands war due to a dispute with Argentina over access to the Beagle Channel (i.e. common enemy = mutual friends). Argentina on the other hand still hasn't learned to accept the outcome.

Nah, the Brits can do that themselves just ask Chile about the little problem in 1982.

Let's think about this, replacing all the teachers in a district or changing management to a charter company doesn't get at the roots of the problem. Poverty is the overall issue with all that entails in the states. Broken homes, drug use, teen pregnancy, lack of parental involvement. I'm not saying I have any answers but I can tell you that it's the parents and students that are "failing" every bit as much as teachers and administratos. I have a friend who taught in the innner city in Milwaukee. 6 years of teen pregnancies, fights, students being shot or going to jail because of gang activity, parents who didn't show up for conferences. He went from being this idealistic student teacher to one who gave up and took a job in the suburbs where he has a chance to see some of his kids succeed. Just sayin' it's not as simple as throwing money at it and firing some teachers.
