So he just scraped his bowl and had it in the bag or was it still in the pipe? Waste of time keystones, legalize now!

Smart man getting out ahead of the tabloids and his blackmailer. This won't hurt his career one bit.

After 30 years they decide to arrest him, absolutely rediculous. His victim has said he doesn't belong in jail, as far as we know he hasn't ever done it again and he has lived in plain site for years. I smell a DA who wants to make a name for himself just like Sneddon who tried to take down Michael Jackson. I certainly don't approve of his behavior but after this many years there is something else going on here.

As if people aren't bad enough drivers here already, they certainly don't need to be eating while driving.

Well they're cute but that's about it. I suppose if you can get paid for being cute why not take advantage.

the paceisglacia: The problem is the proselytizing, what Mormons or any oher group practice in their home or in their temple is of no concern to me. I have the very same problem with Jehova's Witnesses, do not come to my door peddling any religeon and expect a warm reception and positive view of your religeon.

Cap and trade will lead to "soilent Green is people" China would be all to happy to see others abide by strong new carbon emissions rules that it doesn't have to follow, it's good for business. I hope the climate talks fall apart for the sake of all of us in the first world struggling to put food on our families' tables. This psuedo science is yet another attack on the middle class by the elite.

"The use of illegal drugs appears to be infiltrating the entire entertainment industry, the most recent incident being the arrest of a former member of the rock band Otoko-gumi on suspicion of marijuana possession. After Sawajiri and Takashiro, what’s next? "

I almost peed my pants. Wow drug use in the entertainment industry, in Japan? Ha Ha Ha Of course there is drug use and also among salarymen, teachers, government officials, construction workers and fishermen too. What a joke, drug use is a fact of life in every society why feign surprise?

One more, most Japanese laugh at these guys, my wife always commented about their stiff Japanese and their matching white shirts and black ties. You can always spot them and run.

The Mormons are coming the Mormons are coming. I've really always wondered why any Japanese would convert from Bhudism which as practiced here requires nothing of you to Mormonism or Jehovah's Witness. Oh well fulfillment through deprivation of worldly pleasures as long as you don't preach to me then whatever floats your boat. I'm way to much of hedonist to be saved so save your breath.

Ishihara may be a racist and a loud mouth but he is telling the truth when he says that things in the IOC are rigged. As for his "lack of sportsmanship" stuff sportsmanship people think the IOC is some kind of sacred cow and I'm happy at least someone will speak their mind.

kaminarikeizai: I am 100% in agreement with you thinking. Companies have offshored jobs just to fatten the CEO's bank account. This can't continue or the 1st world countries will be 3rd world countries in no time.

Lies Lies Lies: If they counted those who've quit looking for work as well as Uni grads who are working at Family Marto the true number would be 10%-12% and that might even be conservative. The US number is always too low as well but closer to reality than Japans.
