Please stop the witch hunt, what can be gained by further destroying Sakai? I think the police and prosecutors need to charge her with what they have and leave the rest the hell alone.

Wow that's pretty scary, I wonder if this guy is the "talented Mr. Rippley" As an aside if he really has a couple of million bucks and he's on the run it won't be to Canada, it will be to somewhere without extradition that he can dissapper.

So did they ban the movie "Saw"? that was pretty gruesome. Personally I doubt I'd watch this but I do find it odd that Britain has this degree of censorship.

"No pun intended it's a growing problem" I almost wet myself laughing. Sorry but the pun was made. Back on topic, legalize it, tax it and the gangs and trafickers go out of business. Seems simple enough to me.

Why anyone chooses to practice any religeon that impinges on their personal freedoms I will never understand. That goes for not just Muslims, but fundie Christians, Jews, Jehovah's, Mormons and on and on. By the way, I know Muslims who break dietary laws and drink but they do it in the west where the religeous laws aren't tangled up with the civil laws. Sad on so many levels, I usually view Malysia as an up and coming nation but until they undo these sort of laws they will remain third world in the eyes of westerners and other asians.

The only sh*t thrower I knew of was Gigi Allen (for those of you who know late 80s and early 90s punk) and I'm pretty sure this guy wasn't emulating him. Seriously only the insane throw feces at people. gobig: thanks for the laught that was the funniest thing I've read in a while.

Yep, this one puts Marriot in a very bad light. It makes me wonder what the hell some executives are thinking. Maybe the PR department should make the call in how to pursue cases like this, they might have a better clue how this makes the company look.

Jbizzle: These types of things don't happen everyday. This child was too old to be at risk for SIDS so there has to be something else. Very sad, my daughter is about the same age, I can't imagine how terrible this must be for him.

I'm pretty surprised they could openly carry fire arms at a protest. If no laws were committed then it's not really news. It's not as if these guys threatened the President because if they had they would have been arrested.

Dropping the "public option" means this is nothing more than a mandate for coverage (See also grand taxpayer handout to big pharma, hospital groups and insurers why do you think they support this sham?). There will be no more competition or cost control than there is now (hint: almost none). The last company I worked for in the Sates went shopping for insurance one year and the HR director had to submit what they were paying for premiums to other companies to quote on coverage. Doesn't that sound a little rigged to any of you? The point is reform has to be either a public plan or regulation of insurance premiums and we won't see either.

What the hell was the mother's motive here? Was she compensated for letting the 20 year old rape her daughter? What about the sister's involvement? More questions than answers but obviously a very messed up family.

Murray took him down with an IV of Propofol and either slept or left the room and he died. The drug shouldn't have been used without heart monitoring and the doctor is guilty of malpractice.

Enjou Kosai alive and well. I have no moral outrage here, not one bit of sympathy for either party. If the dentist is guilty he broke the law. The girl on the other hand knows damn well what she's doing and calling a prostitute a "child" is disingenous.

He almost got away with it, as the person in the story commented his story will make a huge hollywood hit but he won't profit from it. I guess crime really doesn't pay.

Triumvere: We're exiting Iraq without the shame we had in Vietnam, I'll give you that. Problem is I don't think Iraq will manage to become a functional state once they don't have the back up of US forces. One thing we can take away from Iraq is that we need to understand the locals better if we hope to win "hearts and minds"

Taka313: Hey a fellow midwesterner, my grandparents lived in Antigo for a while and the Rhinelander in upper Wisconsin. The winters suck but midwestern people are the friendliest most grounded people. I have the pollen issues when I go home but apparently the vegitaion in Japan is differnt enough that I haven't become sensitized yet.
