Good article and I completely agree. I am a smoker and it has never made sense to me that you ban smoking on the sidewalk but allow it in bars and restraunts. Japan in many cases is opposite land.

So Ahmadinejad comes to Lebanon to provoke Israel. Lebanon will be the one to pay in the end if there is a conflict. Ahmadinejad wants a proxy war. Lenanon is one of the few countries in the Middle East where for many years Christians and Muslims have lived together in peace. Lebanon though weak is a success which apparently Ahmadinejad would like to destroy. I hope that the leadership of Hezbollah is smart enough to see they are being played by Iran but unfortunately I doubt they do.

More political prisoners coming up. So how the hell can anyone defend the Chinese government? Nothing has changed since Tiananmen and yet we continue to send business to China. Are people so stupid or short sighted or maybe both?

13 years old might look like 18, depends on the girl but I'm not really buying his story. 7 years in jail is pretty stiff, Cambodia must finally be serious about getting rid of the pedo tourists, good for them.

Sure we have nothing to fear from China becasue they are an economic powerhouse that has reformed. Maybe some of the China appologists need this little reminder that China is stil a 1 party police state.

"hikes taxes by 40% to curb smoking" What a flat out lie, they want to raise revenue not cut smoking rates. By the way Phillip Morris did a study (which they were very embarassed by when it went public) in England to argue that smokers cost national insurance and pension schemes less because they die sooner. You know what, that's exactly what they found. Take that for what its worth and how you feel about big tobacco but please quit using the insurance costs against smokers because it is not a valid argument.

Wow selling pics of your own kid is pretty low. I doubt in the long run the child will be affected by this however. Where the child will be affected is in losing her mother (unfit though she may be). Mom's money making scheme has destroyed her family.
