I foresee a Republican or even better a Libertarian presidential victory in 2012 and a whole new fleet of kick@ss predator drones that will allow our brave forces to extricate themselves from this over-lawyered political theater and let Uncle Sam get down to some serious and long overdue mass extermination of jihadi scum.

A similar assassination of a cop took place in Seattle a month ago. The murderer was also of a different race than the man he killed, in cold blood. But for some reason these don't get called 'hate crimes' and media focus is quickly switched to irrelevant inanities like 'gun control' or pointless discussions about suitable length of sentencing for predator scum.

Yesterday I wondered if other European nations might follow suit.
Today I read (RadioFreeEurope) that populist parties in Denmark and Holland would like to see similar referendums.

I forgot - American media sources are all 'biased', in the pockets of the corporations - or Big Oil - or some other bogeymen.
So here is the view from abroad
The Sunday Times of London 01/06/2002
PRESIDENT Bill Clinton turned down at least three offers involving foreign governments to help to seize Osama Bin Laden after he was identified as a terrorist who was threatening America, according to sources in Washington and the Middle East.
Clinton himself, according to one Washington source, has described the refusal to accept the first of the offers as "the biggest mistake" of his presidency.

"President Clinton and his national security team ignored several opportunities to capture Osama bin Laden and his terrorist associates, including one as late as last year"

Afghanis will have peace (of a relative sort) when the Taliban's Muslim financiers beyond Afghanistan's borders no longer have surplus petro dollars to throw away on sponsoring terrorism and the spread of the Wahabist cancer, and when their IED suppliers in Iran are dealt with. Does anybody with a brain in their head, when seeing the Taliban's 'holy warriors' pictured with land cruisers, assault rifles, cell phones, RPGs etc actually think they (or any Muslim peoples, for that matter) are capable of making these themselves?

WilliB highlights another reason Europe and the civilized world need to blunt the ideological wedge Islam always and everywhere attempts to drive into foreign political systems it encroaches upon - - its tribalism.

I wonder if Germany and Austria will look at offering voters a similar referendum.
Too late for UK, France and Holland.

"The recruits gather in scorching desert hideouts in Somalia, use portraits of President Barack Obama for target practice, learn how to make and detonate bombs, and vow allegiance to Osama bin Laden."
I read this and smile, thinking of all the idiots who assured me if the Florida recount had made Gore president 9-11 would never have been carried out by fanatical nutjobs like these losers.

Was it bombast rhetoric (you probably meant 'intimidating rhetoric') and threats of sanction that also made Iran's rulers assassinate citizens gathering peacefully to protest bogus election results???
Because from where I sit the same cowardly motives and twisted,hate-filled ideology determined the theocrats' actions in both cases.

According to the Times Online UK (American news sources, I am repeatedly told here, are hopelessly biased...) Switzerland's female voters played the crucial role in advancing this ban.
I'm going to sit back now and enjoy watching the moral relativists of the left and the anti-Christian bigots here grapple with this one:
radical feminists
prominent feminists

The whole affair summed up, and brilliantly so:
' You know, when you consider that ‘We’re Saving The Planet’ is the biggest power/money grabbing scam since ‘We’re Saving Your Souls,’ whoever leaked/released those e-mails and such is kind of like the modern scientific equivalent of Martin Luther. This person/persons may well have broken the backs of the Global Warming Priests who did everything in their power to make sure that the common man, and those who would oppose them, had no direct access to the Spoken Word of God.” '

Funny is it not how the left never denounces organized religion when its representatives capitulate to the PC tyrants and issue meaningless statements about seeking reconciliation.

The two supposed gatecrashers (rabid anti-Israeli activists) have known Obama for years. We are not getting the whole story on this one, nor is the lapdog MSM going to get around to it.

On Iraq and Afghanistan I support the current one as well, so far. He hasn't precipitously withdrawn our troops in Iraq (and was man enough to admit he was wrong on the surge) and it appears he will disappoint his lefty base soon with news about a troop increase to Afghanistan.
Gitmo is still open. It could have been closed his first day in office - - if Obama really wanted that.
Bush era surveillance laws are still on the books.
Yes sir, it looks like Obama played numbskull, smithinjapan and millions of progressives, and played them well.
