  While the parents ofcourse should try and work something out, such that the kids and their childhood/life is not negatively impacted; Japan should be reviewing its family laws and recognize dual custodianship. Lawmakers, Japanese citizens; you've got to churn things up for the sake of society.

  The country alone is not good or bad; its the people of country, their way of life, their social mechanisms, their ability to address and respond to issues that matters. Unfortunately most of Japan is caught up in the daily grind, and are oblivious of the fact that the social structure is crumbling while the government is caught up in petty politics. This nation and its youth are doomed unless the society awakens to the plague of power harassment, discrimination , lack of individuality, lack of conscience and lack of fear to do the wrong.
