As if 'apologising' for something that occurred 70 years ago will improve Japan's security situation. But JT is no stranger to cheap shots who will use any opportunity for J-bashing.

Powerful enough to prevent Americans from selling in Japan? if so I will develop a new found respect for labels like Being Giza even if they turned post-Juice B'z into a boyband

I reckon the song would've attracted attention in Japan had it not been performed by an obasan and a shady man known for undergoing drug rehab. But who am I to judge that the song was crap because it failed to break into the Japanese market that's currently affixated on SKE and SDN?

That song by Ayumi was great, I think it outsold Utada for 1999.

I wouldn't expect any less blatant waffling/fence straddling action by the current NZ government that is dismayed by the facts that more and more Japanese tourists are abandoning their country for Australia after realising what a hole NZ is, and at home the left-wing opposition including the Green Party are making significant gains in the polls.

You cannot believe some of the US arguments FOR dropping the nukes on Kyoto: one of the points was that since the inhabitants lived in such a culturally rich urban centre, they would be the most intelligent people and Japan and hence would best understand the significance of the bombs o-O. Talking about aerial bombing, this article suggests that the Americans were able to accurately mark their targets on the ground contrary to most allied sources that the destruction of residential areas in cities were collateral damage from the inaccuracy in dropping the incendiary bombs.

I actually want Asia to see Japan not intervene in any conflict, whether it be South Korea roasting under the barrage of the North's artillery fire, or the Chinese turning to the sea. We'll just tell anyone crying for help to go look to other nations that aren't being frivolously accused of resorting to WWII style imperialism whenever they attempt to defend themselves. :D
