I like the concept of visiting something that lost its meaning long ago but that it is still standing in the middle of nowhere.

The British Isles will be right up your street!!

Even that wouldn't be necessary if some of these long term foreigners would get off their butts and learn some Japanese.

In an ideal world, foreigners on a permanent or long stay in Japan should be fluent in Japanese but in reality many lack that fluency.

    Hardly relevant seeing as…

Exactly! Wait for the final price.

I remember finding a flight to Manchester last year for JPY47,000. When I enquired further I found that after taxes, of which Heathrow charges a staggering JPY21,000, the ticket price was closer to JPY160,000. You are fooling no-one BA. I would love to go…

Having taught my 3 year old son to check for vehicles when crossing a road, no matter how minor or major they may be, I find it amazing that other mothers/familys come out with the 'erai desu ne' remark. The fact that even such a basic rule of the road…

England is the logical and emotional choice. Home of the best stadia and the best league in the world, oh, and the home of football, too.

But not to our dear friends at UEFA and FIFA. Try telling that to Monsieur Platini!!

AlfGarnett- The requisite is that they need 12 stadiums that have a minimum, 40,000 capacity. Last time I looked Upton park can't hold that many. From a historical point of view 'Old Trafford' or 'Celtic Park' have to be two of the finest stadia in Britain as they have never…
