Let him bring them back to Japan for burial.
Posted in: The only time he cried was when he talked about the bones of his comrades becoming part of these tourist attractions. He hates the fact that the bones that have been recovered are sitting on trestle tables, and that the government knows that they're there and doesn't go get them.

Like a pig in a poke, it's in the bag, baby. Or is it like poking a pig? I can't remember. Anyway, I think two women would be the safest bet, followed by a man and a woman, followed by two men. All these people following each other around. Actually, animals would be safest. They can't talk and don't seem to get jealous. Except for this sheep I once knew . . .

Oh, I meant to say after the first sentence that I try to encourage students to learn my language by example of trying hard to learn theirs.

I speak Japanese fairly well and really try to read it more and more. The people around me, foreign and Japanese national, all try to help each other out in ANY language. I think Japanese people feel they can't do it (lack of confidence) or they have some mental block. (I never learned Spanish any better for the same reasons.) But once they get involved, most of them do pretty well, especially younger people who go overseas. They need immersion because it forces them to speak, just like anybody else.

They did that already.
I think Japan should give North Korea tons of money and help for business opportunities, start to set up dialogs between diplomats and eventually private citizens, get the internet working in North Korea, and so on. I think a lot of the information will come out in the long run.

It's about time! I think if people can see a man wearing diapers that this will become a more acceptable practice in the States. I used to wear diapers all the time but got the rudest stares even in Walmart. But now, with the influx of these Japanese comedy programs, maybe all sorts of interesting things will start to happen in the US. Hint: invest in diapers.

The police are not incompetent here. They do well what they are expected most of the time - NOTHING IMPORTANT. Chasing down old ladies on bicycles, etc. I think if they were reorganised into doing work that really mattered, they would be very good at it. For the most part, it is not their fault they are seen as incompetent. As a matter of fact, I have met quite a few "special police" - fellows you don't see every day - and they are tough and scary. They do most of the dirty work. The rest are office workers in Halloween costumes.

He will be reborn as a Japanese guy living in an apartment above a woman whose boyfriend throws a firebomb into it intending to kill her but he will be engulfed in fiery hell himself. Poor Ken Yamamoto. What did he do to deserve this? But I think Short is really sorry. He's had time to think about it. I don't think he should die. He should be in service to the Yamamoto family for the rest of his life in some capacity.

I'm glad she's still alive. She did the right thing. She will probably forgive the guy. But if justice is served he should get punished for attempted murder along with assault and showing his little weenie to her.
