Crazy, absolutely crazy. Now we can definitely expect bottled water to have chemicals and drugs in them. Nothing in this world will be natural, pre or healthy. Drugs that keep you sick to keep you taking drugs.

Someimes we introduce people in such a way: This is Mark, Mark's Australian. Or this is American Karl. Please meet British Bob, or this is my drunk British friend Bob. This normal. So what's wrong with Gaijin Joe?

Using English as the reference for language, the word "gaijin" is racist and very non-PC.

No I don't see the difference. gaijin=outsider/alien=foreigner Is English less offensive than Japanese?

What's your point?
Foreigner = a person not native to or naturalized in the country or jurisdiction under consideration; alien, a person from outside one's community.
Foreign = of, pertaining to, or derived from another country or nation; not native, not belonging to the place where found.

I think in many cases Japanese treat "gaijin" better than they treat other Japanese. I wouldn't even mind if they called me "big round-eye whitey" or something else. In perspective Japan treats people quite nicely. Without perspective it is easy to complain. At least the word isn't pronounced "gay-jin".

It won't make any difference. Crime will continue to rise because of the violence in the media. Publishing a name may even give some a sense of fame, not shame. Shame goes to all of us. Shame on you.

The same thing was asked about young women in the US. Actually young western men cook more than young western women now. This trend may or may not come to Japan, but young Japanese are only following the trend of the USA! Soon to come...violence and obesity. I Also think it is interesting how "young people" was interpreted as "young women".

I hate all Stallone movies. So stupid. I also hate that he is so stupid that he doesn't realize people might actually get information about the world in other ways than watching formulaic and mindless movies like his. I really don't think the people who have gone into any Rambo movie unaware of Burma will come out enlightened. What a load of....

I would like to leave these kind of relief efforts up to our governments and the UN. I always feel worried that my individual donation is reduced to nothing as it changes through sticky hands. No doubt Burma's government is a disgrace, but the Burmese are beautiful and I hope the world's governments will offer any help that is needed.
Posted in: Do you think reports of the Myanmar junta hoarding cyclone relief aid and China's stance on Tibet will make people think twice about making donations to disaster relief in those two countries?

Get some perspective! Is it so bad to not want to read a movie but to just watch and listen? And why do people figure that Japanese youth are less bright than, let's say the super brilliant youth of America? Or how about those fancy talking geniuses of Great Britain? Get over yourselves. By the way, Japan is the second biggest book market in the world. Japanese people are not dumbed down more than anywhere else, it is just a changing time. I won't know most of the popular singers or actors of even my parents time, just the most popular maybe. Also I'm not sure why everyone is so preoccupied with Nazis. Let it go and let's evolve already.

I don't believe discipline of any kind is necessary. Discipline only teaches what to think, not how to think. We will not evolve if this idea of discipline is not discarded altogether.

I don't believe Japanese people know how to ride bicycles. With or without iPods and mobile phones it is a disaster. Ever been to Osaka?
