you can sell it for like 70% of what you paid for it when new. thats beacuse they rarely break down, my mother a had a 15yr old Camry wagon almost 200,000km on the clock. in all that time she only ever had a leaky radiator hose $15 and a gear stick bush that stopped her shifting into 3rd, $5. naturally she had regular services etc but the car just didnt miss a beat for 15yrs, until somebody rear ended her in a accident and had to write the car off since the repair was more expensive than the car, she wanted badly to have it fixed regardless but the insurance company though otherwise, p**ks

this publicity is priceless, as O'Barry said the attention will just bring more protestors "on tourist visas" cant stop them all.
more protestors = more documentaries more youtube videos showing Japan in a bad light. The J gov would have been better to just have let him in, now theyve got many major foreign TV/newspaper networks taking up the story. Similar publicity would cost you $millions in advertisements, and the activist have got it for a cheap plane ride over!, thanks Japan LOL

@GW finally somebody that has some real world experience around wild animals, ive seen a angry bull attack and nearly flip the landcruiser we used to chase them down, scary powerful animals. Ive been attacked by wild pigs, huge tusks, while hunting, but luckily there were plenty of trees to climb to escape, or when youve got time a well placed shot. But thats easier said than done when a mad boar is coming at you full speed lol I actually got kicked by a horse.... once! sent me 6ft in the air. had a bruise on my butt for a month could hardly walk for a week. Never again!

Japanese are the masters of hypocrisy, say one thing to somebody and the complete opposite to another. seriously youd think you were in a school playground and not listening to grown Japanese bureaucrats

@burning Bush** many hundreds of children have been born through frozen egg/sperm. many of those are now adults with no reports of major health problems, this technology will only become better in the future and is here to stay whether people like it or not.

As nakanoguy said, lighten up. I and lighten up Im laughing arnt I, lol. oh I know a thing or two about animal behaviour have hunted wild pigs, horses, donkeys. even been on horse, buffalo, cattle round ups in my younger years. and I can tell you you wont catch an animal that is stressed or aggressive the way theyre are doing it. A tranquilser gun is the best non lethal way to stop a large animal, putting up a net like that will just get you trampled/ injured or even killed. Working at a zoo can teach you many skills about animal welfare but very little about animal capture.

@katsu78 sorry to hear you had a problem, next time get there name and van number, then call his boss and rip into him, I bet you you wont see the delivery guy again or if so he`ll be the most polite person youve met all year.

i really love watching this yearly ritual at the zoo. what i can't understand is why so many posters have to ridicule it?
well for one the drill doesnt even simulate what a real zebra would react like, its most likely to try and jump through or over the next or even kick anybody who trys to net it. Zebras in the wild have know to kill fully grown lions just by kicking them in the chest/head, how do you think a hard hat would stand up! It funny because this drill doesnt even come close to the real thing
wtfjapanFeb. 02, 2016 - 04:10PM JST
lol what would be really funny if they actually used a real tranquilizer gun to shoot that guy/zebra in the behind, thats something id pay to see!
wtfjapanFeb. 02, 2016 - 03:07PM JST
I have to admit Japans delivery service is world class, and something other foreign companies could takes notes on. I regularly have heavy parcels delivered 15~20kg and the prices are cheap.

Republic of Ryukyu sounds good. LOL Okinawa would be bankrupt within a month, poverty/crime will increase dramatically, as tourism wont even come close to covering its cost, oh but at least theyll be free!

They put them in the middle of Tokyo just to show off. And to scare people a bit more. exactly if you want to intercept a missile it seems you want to do it before it reaches Japan, either at sea of right on your borders. shooting it down while its over populated areas defeats the purpose. But it much more of a spectacle to do it where everybody can see it.

so where are all the people saying that nuclear isnt needed and we should burn coal instead? no sorry solar and geo thermal wont even get close to supplying base load power in the next 20yrs. so well just kepp burning coal increasing CO2 output , warming the world increasing droughts and ocean levels displacing millions of people and putting more into poverty. Oh but long as Japan isnt effected all is fine.
