**than continental Europe so I can't see tariff barriers going up or Nissan moving, but they can't be very happy about it nonetheless ** Nissan makes about 200,000 cars a year in the UK over 60% of them exported to the EU, EU would be crazy in letting the UK continue to have 0 tariffs on their exports while refusing open border policies. allowing the UK to cherry pick the good points on the EU trade while refusing the bad just disadvantages other members in the EU. No the EU will make being in the EU advantageous to its members and rightly so.

** Always been a hardline type of place.** that's just the problem, Japan can be hardline on completely benign things, then softcore on very serious offences. got their priorities all messed up

The only reason any trade issues may arise is if the politicians artificially create problems with trade. There's no real reason why anything should change. Scare-mongering tactics. but that's just it one of the conditions of being part of the EU is the free movement of people and one of the privileges is 0 tariffs status on goods traded within the EU. why should the EU continue to give the UK 0 tariffs , if they refuse other disliked conditions of being in the group. They've already stated they wont accept the UK "cherry picking" conditions otherwise, why would the other EU members stay in the group. Also, the majority of what the UK manufacturers is sold to the EU, placing tariffs on UK goods will make manufacturing more advantageous within the EU, many companies will relocate to the EU and take the jobs with them. The EU has the trade advantage now if the UK think theyll still get the same privileges as other EU member they'll be sadly mistaken. Then we have the issue of Scotland. whichever way you look at it there are some hard times and decisions coming for the UK.

The UK thinks they can have their cake , eat it too and the others can wash up after them . LOL

There are people whose bodies don't fall perfection into that binary anyway. And plenty of people who fall in between. A person with Klinefelter Syndrome, for example, has XXY. nature isnt perfect and there will always be abnormalities that's how things evolve. But transgender, homosexual all have , mental disorders or genetic abnormalities in their brains. Is this human evolution highly unlikely? so as it stands now and the foreseeable future humans are made up of two sexes. So saying your a male when you have a womb and can give birth doesn't make you a man, or saying your a female when you have penis, testicles and can inseminate doesn't make you a woman. Self-mutilation and gender camouflage won't change this fact. People think that being at the top of the animal kingdom because of our superior intelligence can somehow give us the right to change the rules of biology and our genetic makeup. Science may make it possible someday, but not today

Locals don't commit the worst crimes in Okinawa. police statistics prove that since 1971 Okinawans commit more that double serious crimes per capita compared to SOFA members. No its not an excuse, but neither is a zero tolerance of SOFA members in Japan, that is just discrimination and racist

$15 billion pill damn thats more than the profit they make in a year. whenever I see a VW or Audi driver I cant help feel for them afterall they've been scammed into thinking their car is of the quality thats stated by the company.

Legally he is a her, all her papers sez so. genetically hes a he . Human psychology doesn't automatically trump human biology because we say so . Until science can change your DNA and chromosomes to that of the opposite sex you'll always be the sex you were born with, no amount of artificial camouflage will change that

EU would definitely not give UK as good a trade deal as their EU members since that would defeat the purpose of being favoured as EU members. yep the leave group seem to think that they'll still have the same free trade between the EU without the added rules of being in the group. The majority of goods manufactured in the UK is exported to the EU, it would be beneficial for the EU to keep tariffs on UK goods as this would make companies move production to countries within the EU and they can take the UK jobs in the process. No, the EU has the trading advantage now and the UK is fooling itself if they think there will be more benifits than negatives by leaving the EU

You are very sympathetic to American criminals. you must be sympathetic to Okinawan criminals since they have a higher crime rate and all I hear is complaints about non-Okinawans!?

This is US. Military problem. Whatever Okinawans do shouldn't be used as excuse to admire GI's crimes in Okinawa. who said anything about making it an excuse, just stating an observation, SOFA members are human just like Okinawans and make mistakes, just because they're guests doesn't mean the locals can expect a zero tolerance of them , to do so would be both discrimination and racist. Just find it hypocritical to think that people will continue to criticise one group while their own is doing the same thing and much more frequently.

DUI coming in 5..4..3... yes an Okinawan DUI, im willing to put money on it that the rate of Okinawans being arrested for DUI (alcohol or drugs) is higher than that of SOFA members, anybody brave enough to think its the other way around? Must be nice for the local population to have all the attention taken away from them when all the scrutiny is on SOFA members.

Japanese cars are sadly in decline together with their morals. LOL yet Toyota continually sells the most vehicles each year and has the highest profit margins on those vehicles sold, excluding luxury brands. You dont have customers continually buy your if the quality is in decline. Ive had numerous Toyotas over the years some of the with over 200,000km , have never had any major components fail, eg engines transmissions, suspension. Get a Korean maker to build a 4x4 that can handle the extremes of the Arab desert or Russian winters, theyll fail miserably. just another reason why Toyotas and Japanese car dominate in the middle east and Russia.

I can't see a world where the aggressive driver will willingly give up their automotive freedoms and enjoy feeling stuck in a uniformed moving line. yes there will be people that still prefer to drive their own vehicles but cost will probably dictate which way they go. driverless vehicles will be less accident prone to human drivers, insurance premiums will probably become very expensive for human drivers compared to driverless vehicles. As far as the moral debate I think it would be immoral to not introduce a technology that will drastically reduce the road toll and save lives.

yes it purely political, SK is just butthurt that foreigners prefer to buy Japanese cars over Korean, who can blame them Korean cars are junk, theyre only good for around 3=4yrs before they start falling apart, good for rentalcars and taxis

so that the problem of ratio of government debt to economic size is put off until another day, is by beggaring their neighbours and grabbing a larger slice of their neighbour's wealth through beggaring thy neighbour policies of which currency weakening is a major part. grabbing their neighbours wealth, last I check japan had lost a considerable amount of it to China the last 20yrs. first world economies are all fighting for the last remaining jobs that haven't been lost to Asia. why should Japan sit idly by and let other first world economies eg Germany US ,steal their jobs. There's nothing natural about the worlds economy over the last 7~8yrs and lets not forget the majority of the most recent worlds economic crisis, currency manipulations, QE etc originated in the US, and now the US expects everybody else to pay for their F ups, LOL please if hypocrisy was air we`d all have suffocated years ago.

silly comparison!? China devalues it currency continually to support its economy, Korea/India do the opposite to support theirs, how is that different, its all intervention . China has plenty of spare revenue to support their economy whichever way they chose. name me one first world economy that doesn't spend within its means. having economy A to expect economy B to not set policies that is detrimental to their economies is almost impossible since they all have a responsibility to their own economies first and foremost. The UK has just voted for a policy that they and the rest of the world is now paying for, does the average Brit care, probably not.
