Perhaps only a handful of cities in the States would be successful in hosting a Japanese league regular season game. They would be LA and NYC. Also Seattle would be a good place if Ichiro plays a part in the festivities.

Not really, the Americans played a darn good tournament. They got some excellent young talent and experienced coaches/managers. They will be force to be reckon with in Sochi. I say Congrats to the Americans on a job well done.

Agreed with BPoint. USA will be a dominant force in 2014. Just look at the Chicago Blackhawks right now - an amazing group of young talented players who will bring them the Stanley Cup in due time.

It'll be a tough game for both teams. I hope Luongo starts in net again. Sure he lets some soft ones in, but he makes big saves under pressure. The US has nothing to lose so they won't be playing with monkye's on their backs. Canadians needs to play relaxed and play off the adrenaline from the fans. GM Place will be rocking!

In this sport you win some and you lose some for others. What they need to do is to allow some pushing and shoving kinda like the old roller derby days. Overall, Ohno acheived a notorius status in this sport and he's walking away with 8 medals in total. Congrats and we'll see you on reality TV soon!
